Okay, so they went from $210 for the 90+ tables on the first release, lost 2/3 of the content, and now what's left costs $91.
You could have gotten more tables on the old price structure, better tables, too, for $60.
This is not going to be a popular pricing structure.
The PBA facebook account is telling people it'll be rereleased but with the Bally and Williams tables removed. So it'll be out before june 30 but with all those tables removed?
I don't think you are fully aware of the situation, Megadrive.
Farsight is ALSO not happy with how the discount worked because it is broken.
It's not that people don't qualify, it's that they meet all the requirements farsight wanted and they still can't get it.
Also, it isn't another 50%...
A lot of people seem to forget that when zen did do a mass upgrade to their product, the upgrade to zen/pinball fx2, that they STILL gave those upgrades away for free and let everyone import their tables.
And honestly, your "what are you, poor?" argument isn't anything but obnoxious and...
I've been following the game since it launched on ps3, I am quite aware.
In this case though, it looks like this wasn't miscommunication.
I spoke with farsight. It seems that the discount IS supposed to work the way I thought it would, the way it was outlined in the blog post, and they are...
I'd like them to change the lighting options to what they had in the ps4 demo. It was much better than what they have in the full release.
You could tweak the lighting to whatever setting you wanted, not just 3 presets.
That's putting it lightly, he was completely off the mark. It seems more like he had no idea and his confusion wound up misleading people.
Proofreading and apologies, does a lot of good for a company.
I was most interested in the lighting options for this release, which were awesome when I tried them at a demo kiosk at a sony store.
I'm pretty disappointed that the full release changed those, switching instead to a set of three presets. It was a sliding scale on the demo, and it was much...
So, Bobby King with Farsight said this on the pinball arcade post on the us playstation blog yesterday.
"Players who own all of the Season One tables can buy either of the Season One Packs for half price! "
Yet today, this turned out to be false. You need to own 4 of the pro upgrades for...
I asked for more open and honest communication with customers about the pinball arcade releases.
That is constructive. I'm expressing an issue with the general lack of and frequent issues inherent with farsights communication regarding the product.
If they communicated more, there...
So, you want me to leave because I have a problem with some of the things farsight does, and because my post count is low.
I see.
You know what? No. People need to point out when a company does something they disagree with, or in some of these cases when they've failed to provide what a...
I don't see how this can be true, considering other devs seem to have advance knowledge of when their product will release on the platform.
And no, I don't think they do communicate honestly. They certainly didn't when they released busted tables on the vita and they don't when they send...
They told someone on facebook last week that they not only had no clue when it was coming (but that it should have been there by today) to the extent that they said it could launch literally that day.
I'm uncertain why farsight has NO IDEA when their product is actually supposed to launch when...
"Pinball Arcade is going to be a PS4 launch game!"
"Oh, nevermind, but don't worry it will only be delayed a couple weeks."
"Three weeks."
"..."
Excellent communication going on here. Last week they told someone on facebook that the game might even come out that day.
Every release, farsight...
I'm really enjoying the continued silence on this issue. One reply to a wall post on facebook, trying to pass this off as something that "slipped through the cracks" and act as if they had no idea the product they produced didn't work doesn't really cut it.
It's pretty much impossible that they didn't know. They made this product, and this isn't some sort of glitch that is hard to find/replicate. It is present at all times, and apparent within seconds of play.
They knew it was busted, but they submitted it anyway.
