I've gotten up to 260M now - I came short of 275M which was the top score but then I saw somebody's now got a 575M score :) In really long games I'm starting to actually think that TA and multiball tend to become more important to the score than RTU. My previous score before that was about...
I was reading through the IPA Pro tips, and one section mentions shooting the Beta Quadrant Ramp frequently to build the Explosive Millions value. Are they on crack? Is it actually possible to shoot for that ramp more than 3 or 4 times in a row without missing and having it ricochet and...
I've found with both super jets and 5 way combo I rarely if ever end up going for these explicitly (as part of advancing towards normal RTU - I forget what the goal is) - they tend to get picked up along the way somewhere during the multiball modes especially. The only time I've been really...
My observations:
RTU is definitely a sure 10 billion (it seems an easy round too - I've never failed to achieve it when I've reached it), although you can get pretty good points from the TA especially. The regular multiball in theory can score pretty well too but in my experience it's not...
I have also seen this on PS3 - it seems to be the same behavior, although as noted at least you can see the flippers and enough of the table when this happens that you can keep things going until it clears.
I echo the sentiment that I don't think there are any that I regret buying per se, particularly considering they're all cheap, there are some tables I don't play as much or didn't find interesting enough to spend a lot of time on, but they all had some value. I also never really played...
I don't think I ever played Party Zone, but I gather it's part of a similarly themed series to Party Animal. To be honest, it's been so many years I'm not sure I even remember exactly what the gameplay was like (and we weren't exactly pinball experts back then). I do remember it as a fun...
For clock millions and clock chaos I've found I can get a pretty good systematic rhythm at hitting the clock shot, basically trap the ball on left flipper, then shoot at medium strength (it takes a bit of experimentation to get a feel for the right strength but it's not too hard once you get...
Any possibility of looking at Party Animal?

My friends and I used to play that table a lot as kids - it does have some good music in the soundtrack like Louie Louie and some other songs though, and I'd guess there might be some licensing...
I have also encountered this issue - actually I can get it quite regularly - it's only a small proportion of the number of times the ball goes up into the gumball, but on a long game that's over a couple billion you're pretty much guaranteed to hit it at least once in my experience. I also...
