Congrats. Yes, the nudging is an important way in TPA to reach one of this unbelievable scores. After many people told me that it's much easier to play with a controller than a keyboard for this I've tryed a xbox360 controller and the nudging capabilities are much better. On the other side I...
I think you're right with the idol overflow. In addition I can confirm the wrong score counting. In a second try I've reached more than 250 Billion now. Lost the overview at the end. This game came as 76 Billion only to the leaderboard. Looks like the CftbL problem and a big continent...
TPA is much easier than a real table. For RbioN with the limited extraballs you're right that a 6 hour game is difficult, I've never played a real Ripleys. For other real tables like Funhouse or Creature from the Black Lagoon with unlimited extraballs I can remember games with 10 hours+ too 20...
That' not so long, 6-8 hours, I can't remember exactly. The key is to build a huge double continent bonus. At this point my one was at 3.8 Billion. So 10 times all continents are nearly 40 Billion in later gameplay...
As I said i'm not interested to play pinball more than 12 hours per day. If you keep this behaviour the first place would be yours forever...
Last week I've got the same problem with RbioN: 151 Billion and three more balls. The ROM crashed while pressing both flippers for faster bonus count...
Yes it's the same like MSF. The DMD stays at 999.. Now the fun is over with this table. What a pitty. It was my second ball only and a 30B score seems possible. Some game ROMs are to old for the easy TPA table emulations.
If you stack 3 EBs in the first ball that's the maximum for the whole...
As discussed above in this thread I found it strange that Assault on the Vault does count for the tournament too. After a few attempts I've switched back to normal game. AotV is good for a fast 5M or 6M game, for more you have to be very lucky in my opinion. It's much easier to reach more points...
Sorry, I wouldn't produce this video at the moment. As you know it needs for sure not only one attempt and is done in 20 minutes. Maybe I will reproduce the score some day after the tournament.
It's not a joke. As I described you have to build up a huge city bonus from one round and play the...
OK, that's a lucid explanation for different dates. Here's another mystery: A new 500M Space Shuttle score. This time dates are equal at leaderboard and steam profile. The last screenshot shows 517 hours on record. Now the hours total are at 519 hours. Such a highscore in only 2 hours? I believe...
This ROM bug can be reproduced any time. Play all the Chain Links untill the Ultimate Challenge is lit. During the modes enable all three locks for multiball. Don't start the Ultimate Challenge, start the regular Multiball. If you're able to destroy all the judges this start an unlimited...
Ok. I've never played Rescue 911 IRL. After reading the instructions my conclusion is to read two chapters: Multiball and Extraballs. That's enough for basic good scores...
I've tried as vikingerik was #1. I know you beat him very close later and remember that we had some posts in which I was surprised that your game was stable...
For sure he seems a very good player when I take a look at the Pinball FX2 videos. Still I'm a little in doubt at least for some of his TPA scores too. Two reasons:
Here's a screenshot from the current F2K weekly leaderboard. FUUTA is listed with a 34M score on March 22:
Here's a current...
I've made a short video how to handle Cyclone in the last year without nudging. The lowest duck target is in fact the most difficult part in this strategy.

My strategy for CP is completely different. I never play for the Ultimate Challenge as a goal, I go for the Cash Fights only. Also I use the Skill Shot for Door Prizes only. This award EB's, start Fights or give another EB chance with a Video Mode.
