To be honest, I don't really care about the UI of The Pinball Arcade. So many things to fix first...

That's why FS should stick to the minimum about the UI. If you don't have HD images, stay simple. And clear. Why not indeed. It's pretty well done for the moment. But not in the background !!! :)

It's simple, certainly. Almost basic but I'm ok with it.

Squares are unnecessary indeed but it would be very messy with an image in the background IMHO.
