Definitely, Firefox. I do remember playing you and all the other folks I had a game with (and those who we tried to get a game with). Pinball is much better when competing against someone.
Flippyfloppy, any chance you reconsidering unpulling the h2h beta? TPA isn't the same without it.
Just realized something......It may be hard to move the opponents UI, but could you shorten it by an inch? It would better the view of the flipper yet have enough room to handle a titanic battle that might hit the trillions.
Also, +1 on the H2H being disabled....Bummer, was having a lot of fun...
No doubt the System 11's are cool, but there are a finite number of them (however numerous they are), and we don't want FS to burn through them. There are many good EM and SS tables to digitize. Plus there's the matter of finding that table to develop into the game.
Just had a game here take a look:
See anything weird? As you see, I was playing Gorgar and when my game ended, the music from Fish Tales came up. I think my opponent was playing Fish Tales.
Here's some gameplay on a real table (skip to around 4:30 to get to actual gameplay):
The slope isn't steep on this particular table, making gameplay kinda slow. And this guy is having trouble hitting daleks, so maybe FS got this right.
The update seems to be a little better, which btw is with the regular version. Still some hang ups getting games going, but I'm seeing lots of unfamiliar screen names that I get matched with.
Deep-frying turkeys....Definitely an outside activity. Every Thanksgiving you hear about fires caused by deep-frying turkeys. So it seems things are pointing to October's table being Dr. Who Regenerated? I think we'll get a Halloween table, but I guess they'll just release Regenerated.
Just had a game with VirtualPinballFanatic (Steam name) of Medieval Madness, 5 minute. But when the game ended, tpa crashed (First time that happened). We tried to have another game but ran into the problems that have already been mentioned.
Still having the problem where the opponents score...
As stated on the Kickstarter page, the Dr. Who twitchstream is set for Thursday the 29th at 4P Pavific (7P Eastern). Since the general public can see the updates and comments on the KS page without having to log in, I figure this info would be ok to post here.
When will the the update be released? The current version has turned many players away from beta testing. Last Thursday's twitchstream could've been a good time to try the beta.
The PC servers were also down for a bit.....Couldn't access the PA website, or look at leaderboards in the game. But that seems to be cleared up and all seems ok.
And I saw the crawl mentioning the stream. 'Come hang out with us on twitch at 4pm (PST)'
Apparently FS will twitchstream this evening (I'm guessing around 4pm PST). I hope they try the h2h beta while streaming and anyone able to be there to try and connect into some games. Unfortunately I'll be at work at the time and will have to settle on watching a replay of it.
The 50k Deluxe light flashes throughout the game , even when it lit (where it blinks like a turn signal at night).
Just double checked, this happens when using the h2h beta, so this is an even smaller nitpickier bug.
