I have a reasonably new iPad 2 with iOS 10.3.2 installed. I haven't played TPA very much the last year due to a combination of too many bugs, boring tables and more going on my life I guess, but when I got back to play it with this new iPad I realized that the movements were incredibly jerky...
FlippyFloppy: I think they have been quite consistent but what happened with Cactus Canyon? Was there a mixup/bug with the HOF-points and high scores for CC?
El Dorado's high score is also a bit off but it is pretty much only the highest high score.
So, how are the default high scores set then? :)
I think they, including HOF, are usually very well balanced. Are they set on an average of what people get in the test runs?
Is it just me or is the HOF-leaderboard not updating at all. My HOF-score hasn't been updated for some 3-4 days now, and it seems like none around my place is getting updated either.
Is there a bug going on or is it just my score that is not getting updated?
I am hoping and wishing that there never will be any Aces High (and I prefer to never see a Gottlieb again)! I can at best bear them, I mostly despise them and it's pretty much only Big Shot I play for fun. Actually, I kinda like Victory as well...
So, many of my most wished tables are rather...
I think that sounds good and well! At least then most have had the chance to play it. I don't really keep track of which platforms get what and when either...
Yeah, I don't count TOTAN in this goal. It's not "hacked broken" or iOS-bug-broken but completely messed up as far as I understand. My score on it is something like #1500 and I don't bother about it. I may play it to get 1.000 HOF-points though, or to get back my 550M top score I had before my...
Yeah, it's all in what to determine a hard table. If it comes to "ball time" no one could say anything else than Central Park! There are fewer tables in which you get so little "flipper time" as that one, it's hardly even a pinball table! Still, those extra balls makes it "easy" in a way so the...
There's not that many left on the list that gets me excited by the "looks". Most of them I have never played but I am curious about Safecracker and Bad Cats.
Wouldn't that World Cup'94 be unlicensed as well? I would have guessed it being on the list. I always liked that one!
I would say that new tables shouldn't be counted until they've been out for x days/weeks. With many platforms not accounted for those scores will have too much impact. One could grind a table for hours to get a great score but a new table could "easily" give you a great "Invitro-score" until...
Below #20 :) Well, we all have our different skill sets!
I made a decent score on Attack from Mars a few hours after this post so now all my scores, except TOTAN, are below #200. I tend to end up in the 20's for the ones I am particularly good at and in the 50's for the ones where I have one...
:( - I have had my hopes for it for a while but never really thought it would be that much trouble. I can see it being troublesome with so many different people involved...Damn! I could have guessed Indy'93 would be quite difficult to fund since it is so commercial so that means 2 out of my 3...
In a way to find tables in which I could improve my HOF-points on I thought it should probably be the ones in which I had the worst leaderboard scores. I thought that if I had done exceptionally bad on one table, there would likely be room for improvement. This led to a new type of goal for me...
