Space Shuttle was in the last one and it's one of the best tables in TPA for tournaments IMO. T2 has been in 3 of the last 4 so that has to rest for a good while I hope. Tables with score double can be fun but very frustrating. Tee'd Off would be similar to POTO in that regard, which was alright...
Grats and GG Dylan!!! Well deserved win!
All in all I enjoyed this tournament a lot, some fun tables and very tough competition! I wish I had more time to challenge you for supremacy over the seven seas (yarrrr!) one more time, but I was celebrating new years eve away and only had time for one...
I shot another 100M+ (110M) game on Whirlwind, but it counted as 10M so it looks like I'm screwed on that table. It's a shame as it would put me on the exact same overall score as you Dylan_h - 722.25
Yeah it's weird. Rollover scores work fine on Whirlwind outside of tournaments. Guess I'll give it another go and see if I can shoot 100M+ again, but I was really happy about that 145M game. It's a tough table, but at least I like it! :) Whirlwind is probably the table that got me into pinball...
I found another disappointing bug yesterday. Rollover scores doesn't count on Whirlwind. I hade a 145M game which doesn't show up :(
This is playing on an iPad 4. Dylan_h has a 109M game on the leaderboard so it must be working from a different device.
I'm with you guys. It's no different than other subscriptions that are allowed. We'd pay for 10 digitally recreated pinball tables to be released within 10-12 months. I don't understand why that wouldn't be allowed when so many other programs have similar payment methods.
I never had much problems with the train wreck shot. On the tables I've played it usually bounced back into the swamp hole(?) where you get a kickout towards the right flipper. I think Addam's is one of the easier real tables. I played it a couple of months ago for the first time in many years...
Definitely agree about T2, and that table has been in 3 of the last 4 tournaments. Spamming the chase loop for 20 minutes is too boring. Is there a better strategy for points? I see Dylan_h put up 1,566M which is pretty sick in 20 minutes!
Firepower really shouldn't be selected for tournament...
F2k for me. It's only worth going for MB there for the cool sequencing. It really doesn't help me score at all and it's just drains everywhere. BSD and FT on the other hand is all about MB mayhem, and FT is pretty brutal as well. BSD ain't that bad. Great games all 3 of them!
Damn, that is some bad luck :( Genie was the hardest for me from this list. I had 2.9M+ when starting my last ball, and got nervous and drained as I was getting close. Luckily I had enough bonus accumulated to carry me over 3M. Haven't played it since, although I did learn to appreciate it over...
Yeah, I agree some tables are more fun with the 20-minute limit. Less need to chase extra balls and can't afford to always play it safe if you want to score high. Also the competition over 8 tables is a sweet concept. I look forward to the next one!
You can hold up the left flipper after the ramp shot to pass it over to the right, and then shoot immediately for No way out from the right. It's fairly reliable when you get the timing down.
Mostly a very nice selection of tables imo. Not a fan of TPZ to be honest, and GN is what it is, but with the 20 min limit I guess it's alright. SpSh, F2k, FT and CPub feels like great tables for tournaments. It's fun to revisit some tables I haven't played in a long time too. I played my first...
