It's a pretty close race. The only reason why I choose EBD is that no other game has shots that feel better and Centaur's main focus is on multiball. It's a damn cool and inventive multiball game but I still prefer EBD. Shoot me if I ever sell either of them though.
They are both high class...
I have a premium on order. It will get here in early September, I hope.
Great to hear. I am glad that you escaped the infamous ghosting inserts feature.
Agree, but what it comes down to for me is that all the shots just feel so damn good on EBD. That is the Achilles heel about Centaur for me. Love them both, though
Agree with original poster that they could give us a few more old tables than so far.
I think Farsight is doing an ok job in this regard, but I would love to have one more "old" table every year. 2-3 out of 10 feels like the right mix to me. (especially now that we have a fair amount of the...
I agree that the old Kiss table is a bit overrated. Cool graphics but boring play. Space Invaders is another table that I think suffer from the Kiss curse.
Here are my top 10 Bally of the ones not in there, from 79-81 (in random order) If you want the best from 75-78, Kolchak has got you...
Very true. I can live with that flipside.....now, at least :)
Never understood why we got CBW at all. Must be the dumbest pool representation in the history of pinball :)
I am so glad that Farsight did a great job with this one. It was a big favorite before, in real life, and now it is also a top 5 for me in TPA. There is a reason why some of us keep nagging about more tables from that time period. ;)
Also, thanks to shutyertrap for going the extra distance...
Said it before, but I'll say it again in this thread: Americas Most Haunted. If Visual pinball can do it with the blessing of Spooky pinball, why not Farsight?
They would get that license at a good deal, I'm almost certain of it. Charlie & Co appear to be great people.
But I am obliged to say...
Americas most Haunted or Medusa for me. Those would get my vote any day of the year.
The others on the list would also be ok, I guess. Well..... Bone busters sounds a bit scary, but not in a good way. Never played it, but I have a feeling that I haven't missed out on much. And the thought of...
I could be wrong here, but I believe that (in past at least) they have tried to release the Halloween table as close as possible to that actual date, on all platforms?
It also makes sense in regard to the Dr. Who kickstarter awards. If it comes out in October on consoles, they are no more than...
I agree that Going Nuts is in a league of it's own
01. Victory (The layout is not that bad but I hate the rules and the voice is really irritating)
02. Rescue 911 (again, the rules are really boring and the layout is also very uninspiring)
03. Lights Camera Action(Same reasons as Victory)
04...
