Using dx11, as one of those with a weaker card (Radeon R5 220 1gb DDR3), It seems I gain a few fps by turning down the room brightness and raise bulb brightness (for better sight and the dark room effect looks really cool). And have resolution around 900x680. I get around 40-50 fps on most...
Don't know if anyone reported this, but on Black Knight with the 3rd ball lock bug.... Calling the attendant results in a 'Ball not Stuck - Cancel attendant call' response, which means the ball won't lock or come out or anything, just click-clacks in the lock.
Heads up for anyone who have insufficient graphics cards....Best Buy has a sale going on, just got a budget priced Radeon R5 220 650M 1GB D3 card for $30. It's enough to allow me to play DX11 version (30-40 FPS) and they have other cards on hand.
Ok, 37 is Jackbot, and I think #40 will be Spirit of '76 (Mystery Gottlieb), Which leaves 38 - either HS2 or Xenon. Since we just had 2 DMD's in a row, I'll guess Xenon.
Oops Just noticed I messed up..... We had TAF, Cyclone, now Jackbot. But I'll keep my guess with Xenon.
This was mentioned earlier in the thread, but it seems the DX11 beta doesn't do 60fps like DX9. Is there a setting that can be adjusted to correct this? This may explain the slo-mo play when I try DX11.
Am also getting the super slomo play. But when choosing a table or at the 'title screen' where I chose 'My Tables", It scrolls fine. Here's my specs:
Processor - AMD A4-3420 APU w/Radeon HD Graphics 2.8GHz
4 Gb Ram
64 Bit
Tried turning down MSAA and AF to lowest values, and choose Buffer...
I'd go with 1976-78. I think the first SS tables came out: Evel Knievel, Eight Ball, Night Rider (Not the one you're thinking of - no 'K'). These pins blazed the trail for the next few years of big blockbuster, celeb loaded tables that came out.
Definitely waiting on pins and needles for the 360 version, and hopefully will have dark mode available to us. Pinball machines in dimly-lit rooms look the best.
Comparing Cyclone to TAF,T2 and WH2O is unfair. Cyclone is a single-ball alphanumeric (and there aren't many of those), and will appeal to nostalgic pinball lovers.
This will get passed over by many (or anyone who didn't get the season pass), and the number one reason it isn't liked is lack of...
What sucks is all these hoops MS is making Farsight jump through. Had MS been the publisher, we'd already have TPA back on the 360. Though I've never noticed the bugs (cause I don't know what they are), it seems they are present on Zen Pinball, yet it's on the 360. The XB1 version seems to have...
I remember playing this table, very fun...How much would you guys like to see this pin in TPA? It's Data East's first table, and the first with true stereo sound.
