SPA had a terrible, rushed launch on every single platform. It came in super hot - busted, even. I think they might have been better off delaying the releases and staggering them farther apart. I appreciate being able to play the tables sooner rather than later, but launch impressions haunt your...
I am seriously considering building a mini cab and I'd really like to run the DX11 version of TPA on it.
My laptop is what I currently use to play DX11 TPA and it's a mid-range Lenovo. I can mostly run TPA at full speed but I get framedrops and screen-tearing on my external monitor (using it...
This may seem like a patronizing question but did you buy the bundles and forget that you had?
I'm just trying to figure it out. I mean, LAH *did* unlock for me so obviously there is something to this.
Need official confirmation. Any other users reporting this?
I might have been pulled because it's pretty broken. I'm sure they will relist the app when it's fixed.
Man, Farsight really botched this release across the board.
This is the box art currently on Amazon for the PS4 version.
The XB1 version is identical, both boxes say the LEs are included. Neither listing mentions the LEs, though.
What's going on here?
Oh god, fingers crossed.
Rollergames is one of the most-requested tables, for sure. I'm not supremely confident that it will be as exciting in digital form, though. It's a pretty simple game. But I'm just happy it will be a Bally/Williams because I like the odds that the table will be a highly...
Oh, interesting translucency on the SPA version. I have never played a Ripley's IRL, I'm assuming that the new version is more accurate? They removed the gaurds over the ramps, too
There is a post claiming that the new iOS update unlocks the TPA tables you already purchased but the only one...
I updated the app and the only table that unlocked was Last Action Hero. I own all the tables on TPA on iOS. I tried restoring purchases but that actually locked LAH. Closing the app unlocked LAH again but I still don't have access to any other TPA tables.
Bummer because I want to play Ripley's...
Pro mode is definitely a ripoff at that price, pretty crazy what they've valued it at. I agree that for $5/table those basic features should be included.
I did, I didn't realize they were rare, though.
Everyone who keeps mentioning Bally/Williams tables must be real masochists. You guys are really setting yourselves up for disappointment time and time again.
Farsight isn't going invest money into TPA anymore, guys.
Ugh. Premiere games just aren't very interesting in digital form. I think their designs get by IRL because real pinball adds a lot of appeal simply by being physical and kinetic and the real world physics are much more compelling.
I'm actually enjoying Al's Garage Band so far. Kind of easy.
Did they? I didn't buy the bundles on iOS but I compared the SPA old tables on PS4 to the TPA versions and they look identical. Frankenstein on iOS SPA looks the same...
Okay, cool.
Since I made this thread iOS got the update for Garage Band and I'm actually really enjoying it. Cactus Jack's is a huge bummer but I think I could be into Magic Castle if they do that one, too. I've never played an Alvin G. before.
Maybe my only complaint about Garage Band is the...
How long do you think it takes to draw a contract renewel?
There is no renewel. This is what we are getting. I have a feeling Season 7 will be the last season of TPA and they'll just focus on SPA from there. My dreams of getting digital versions of many passed-over 80s and 90s WMS/Bally tables...
