i'm keeping in mind all that kind of thing and therefore i mentioned bunch of displaced objects relative to other table elements. try to look on screens and on photos of real tables in this topic with some attention - and you'll look difference, and this difference which will make you gameplay...
GUYS I CATCHED WHY FLIPPERS ON TEED OFF LOOKS SHORTER in TPA : they (and posts wit bush picture plasics and rails near them) are simply placed little lower then they must bee - Mike, pls look carefully on flippers placement relative too posts near them: you can compare it with photos o two...
about Teed Off's flipper btw: screws on them are much more less in size in comparison to flipper it self
and players hand near "Golf Again" inlay dont cover half of inlay to word "Again" - it barely touch inlay on real table
and here is another one heart near "Multiball" close to letter "M" -...
FS already marked new lighting as something "will come at PS4 time", so i dont think it must be discussed until it's release/more info and screens.
meanwhile, FS did not mention any plans to fix/rebuild some art assets of already released tables.
if you have some extra app to change some ingame settings while you still can do this ingame, then no problems.
but as i already said: currently much more important thing, than any settings and little bugs in menu, is art/model fixes to the tables. situation on this side of recreation process is...
Solitude, just answered what FS has exclusive rights for recreations otherwise they could do few tables.
so its looks like we'll have that bad textured and modeled nightmare until FS's license agreement will go to the end or conscience of FS's artists will awake.
and btw Mike - is it possible to see here some guys from art team? because there are much more "questions" to them about poor modeled and textured tables.
even if your GUESSING is right: it looks like this "joint venture" is still enough profitable for Zen, because they continue to release new Star Wars tables (another bunch of them will realese soon).
i dont know what are you talking about, but i'm talking about mistakes in wrong placed/aligned art of playfield, poor modeled table toys - you dont need to make new game to just properly wrap texture on model. if you still dont understand what i'm talking about - try to dig on Genie table and PC...
one thing TPA do well for sure is bringing that feel of nostalgia - last game on my memory which used this (undoubtedly convenient) way to change ingame resolution was Age of Wonders 2 in 2002....
if you think in game table can not look close to real life table - try to play Genie in FP and in TPA after that for comparison.
or try to play/see on youtube Zaccaria - another example of good quality visuals/recreation.
..sometimes i even hope someone else like Zen purchase "big 4" licenses for making real tables recreations. i dont mind about name of company who make - i only care about quality of game and in case of TPA it's tables cost 5$ per 2 tables (without additional price if you want change properties...
