I just pen-and-papered the nudging with keyboard, Xbox360 joystick, and iOS. My expected and actual results match up. We must be missing something... *scratches head*
I'm adding a tilt-meter to the PC version right now. Hopefully it transfers easily to iOS and I can send out a build with it. It might really help shed some light on how tilting works. (:
It's just as sensitive as the other EM tables. However, there are no warnings -- the first strike is the last. :D
Might have to put in a hack for it like we did with Centaur. I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this.
A fix for the status bar and delayed flippers was submitted last Friday. We're waiting on Apple at this point.

The touch issues with the bottom of the screen are a result of the status bar at the top.
I found a huge performance leap on iOS7 when I reset the settings (Settings->General->Reset->Reset All Settings) of the iPhone 4 in the studio.
The Season 1 Ball Pack should be working now.
