I would love to see Fireball in TPA (although I would prefer Spectrum, an early Bally SS table). The problem with Fireball is that it is made by Bally. Most of the tables requested are WMS tables and I feel Farsight is reluctant to "waste" one of their WMS tables on an EM. If we do get another...
No. Godzilla still is and always has been a property of the Japanese movie studio that created him, Toho. Even though the Sony Godzilla doesn't resemble the Japanese Godzilla, Toho still owns the right to the name and (i am pretty sure) the design that Sony used.
I'm going to say that table #32 will be a dmd, probably Safe Cracker. I just don't think any of those Sony titles are likely since they all require licenses in addition to the one from Sony. I am not sure about Krull, but I think it is pretty rare.
It's possible that they will sell this for $7 instead of $5 so that they can see a profit. After everyone takes a cut, Farsight may not see much from a sale.
Yeah, I know. But that doesn't necessarily imply that there was no problem with the Julia estate. It was a pretty big rumor and I am really curious to know if it was 100% completely untrue. Would Julia's estate license his image to anyone with enough dough?
I was surprised that you didn't ask him to reveal the secrets of Raul Julia's estate. Are the rumors about him not wanting his image licensed after his death true? Did they make an exception for Pinball Arcade? Maybe Bobby told you guys beforehand that he can't talk about it
Okay. My bad. As I said before, I haven't had the chance to listen to it yet (and I won't until the end of the day). I just got excited when people started commenting about licenses.
I am actually kinda bummed out that they are already talking about doing original tables. There are so many...
Godzilla '98 was Sony, but they would need to get the license from Toho too, and I don't think that would be easy.
Also, I could be wrong, but a quick google search led me to believe that Tales Fron the Crypt and Mary Shelley's Frankenstein are Sony. Can anyone confirm?
I didn't get to listen...
Yeah, I suspect that something is up with licensing Red & Ted. If it were as easy of a license as everyone says, I think we would have seen it by now. It is far more popular than Black Rose, Who dunnit, and Junkyard (which are all other dmd wms games that were released recently.)
Yeah, that one is hardish. I don't think there is a trick. You just need to have a good game. If you haven't gotten them already, I would start with Bride of Pinbot and Centaur.
Tables I was able to get all wizard goals in the same game on the first try (after unlocking them):
Centaur
Central Park
Who Dunnit
Other tables where I thought all the wizard goals were easy:
Bride of Pinbot
No Good Gophers
Twilight Zone
Junkyard
High Speed
UGH! IMHO this movie was awful. It was supposed to follow the book closely, but they added some dumb romantic backstory that ruined the whole movie. I would strongly recommended either the Bela Lugosi or Christopher Lee versions over this. But that's just me.
Black Rose. I have never played it IRL and I hate anything that has to do with pirates, but I find this table to be the most fun of everything from season 3 (that is currently available on PSN).
They should have saved Dracula for pack 31 if it were the only Halloween table. And if it were Addams Family, they would have had to start the kickstarter by last Friday. If they started the kickstarter tomorrow (and they won't) then it would still be going on when they unveiled the hint for...
They said that they would do something special last Halloween and it ended up being Class of 1812, which was really disappointing because most people were thinking Tales from the Crypt.
I am willing to be that table #31 will be horror themed. Probably Phantom or Boner Busters.
