Meanwhile fish tales seems to have been officially released on steam. Deadline for android must be very near. Will we have enough time to find and fix that HUGE humiliating bug that only occurs on android that somehow was missed prior to beta release?
Yeah I'm not too crazy about lottery style gambling of points in pinball so that makes the waiting a little easier, but at the same time it seems to have a lot of different point scoring strategies to choose from and that sounds promising. Hopefully the TPA version won't have any shot made too...
I've never played whodunnit and it's not on papa but after reading some reviews on ipdb all I can say is WOW this game sounds awesome! Why oh why did they have to reveal it's coming this early, it's going to be a long hard wait now.
I think you mean the arcade by the rollercoaster in mission beach, I used to play there a lot ten years after you did, round 99'. I was born ten years after you, late 70's. So you're the the one that had those old scores I beat on BK2000? No, just kidding. I was mostly playing south park and had...
Theatre of magic video mode is one of my favourites, but that doesn't say much as at the same time I don't think there is much between my most favourite and least favourite video mode if you know what I mean.
The relatively fast drains and games of st:tng is what makes it my most wanted physical table. If you play with friends or whatever, it's no fun if everybody just has to wait for hours between balls. Nobody would want to play with you. And also st:tng has my favourite feature of them all: the...
Twilight Zone - I do love whirlwinds upper flipper and 3-way combo, but TZ has everything and then some.
Medieval Madness - AFM is a very good table, but it's still a weaker version of MM.
Centaur - Even though they have MB at my local arcade, and there's only 5 tables there, I never play MB...
The rom emulation seems to take some time and that had already been done and if you have already built something once it's unevitable that it will be easier a second time.
Maybe the release of fish tales beta for Android will be coming later than usual this time, because we Androids users have to purchase the beta table, and as fish tales will be part of season 3, maybe Farsight wants to have the availability to purchase the whole season 3 pack ready first so...
For me on android for some reason it makes a difference if I have the shake nudge setting activated instead of the touch nudge setting. In shake-nudge mode, the camera and non-active flippers bug almost disappears. And another thing to remember is not to activate flippers while the ball/balls...
I've tried it and made a couple in a row but found the shot from the right flipper more reliable for me, but not good enough for a great score though. Maybe I should give the shot from left flipper another shot and try to find the rhythm. Not too fond of 1812 in general though.
Central, or up nudging, is very useful if you want the ball to jump over to your other flipper. Like if you shoot a ramp and the ball is rolling down to your flipper, hold it up and nudge up right before the ball comes on to the raised flipper, if you time it right, the ball will hop on to your...
I do agree the whole movie themed poster and tornado or sharknado focus does seem a little odd if it's only referring to whirlwind as table of the month and fish tales as main table. Such emphasis on sharks when there are other fish at least on playfield of fish tales. Twister would make more...
Funny, I think sports themes make great pinball games. Especially sports where you play with a ball. Golf works great and I love shooting the ball past the goalkeeper and into the goal on world cup pinball.
Pinball is like a sport in itself, with the same feel for ball control and trajectory...
