This is a bowling alley just outside of Boston in Cambridge,MA. The other half had a half day at work today,so I took her to work so I could play some pinball :)
I can't remember the last time that I played a actual pinball machine that didn't have something...
I'm intrigued by this topic - however since I don't have all of the tables yet (when the 360 gets them I will) so I'll post my top ten when that happens.
Right now I'm playing AFM,CFTBL,and CP the most at the moment...
Well said. If you think of all the many licensed tables that you could KS, T2 wouldn't be in the top five - probably even the top ten. Star Wars would be at the top of that list,I'd think.
I also think FS waited as long as they possibly could with T2 - hence the 18 tables comment during the KS...
It can't be that much to get the license to use Carter's stuff. FS was able to use the Elvira tablea, and I wouldn't think the cost would be more than that...
I got to thinking about this after watching the T2 Kickstarter vid. While many of us have been fortunate enough to play many tables physically - I know that many more haven't had that opportunity. Heck,,my daughter only played her first pin earlier this year (The Sopranos)
So here is my list of...
-
Wow...picking 10 pins from this poll was not easy at all. I could have easily made a case for 5 or six more machines.
But I did narrow it down,so here are my picks:
Banzai Run
Cyclone
Earthshaker
F-14 Tomcat
Fire!
High Speed
Jack*Bot
Junk Yard
Red & Ted's Road Show
Swords of Fury
I couldn't...
I agree - you would think that it would be a easy thing to say. But,if Crave/Filipoint is still going to be The FS publisher for the 360...and the X1 has the same restrictions - then maybe it can't be announced until the bankruptcy/reoriginization is completed.
Okay,I'm going to come out and say it...
I'm not a big fan of T2 pinball.
Unless I had no other choice at whatever truck stop I was currently at,I would avoid it al all costs.
(And if you think that is bad enough - I'm not a fan of TAF either)
BUT...
Having said that - I still plan on...
With my main concerns about the One out of the way - I'm leaning towards getting it now.
But I won't budge until I know for sure that it will have the TPA as part of it.
Attack From Mars is probably my favorite 90's pin that I've played IRL. When I heard that it was going to be a part of TPA I was instantly sold on it :)
