It's better than you expected, while the Batwing Cannon is a bit tedious it still plays well. Don't really like the playfield design, it's like someone said "Hey Joe, let's take a STTNG, move the jets over to the left side, and remove the spinner"
My Thoughts:
Han Solo - Ugh, I honestly was looking forward to this table - but instead of being fun it is utterly tedious. While I enjoy the layout I absolutely loathe the rules, shooting a ramp 7 times just to lock a ball for multiball is pure outrage. The only objective I have ever completed...
On Sterns I typically flail like crazy and try to make as many lit shots as I can until only about one or two jackpots are left, when I go into full-on strategy - cradling balls etc.
On Williams / Bally machines, I tend to be strategic through the entire thing. This tends to come in handy with...
I never thought about that... perhaps it was, could someone trade me some old tapes of the 80s show ;)
Another good thing about putting this game in the collection is that there is an awesome revival of the show that currently airs on Nickelodeon. I'm sure putting the TMNT table in Pinball...
1. Completely disagree with you there, TOMMY is one of my favorite tables. Love the depth of the rules and the great integration with the musical. Just think that the art, Data East / SEGA signage, and sound quality doesn't cut it. IMHO Guns 'n Roses is much better but we'll know that will never...
Pretty sure FS is considering it, one of the refs said that it was an awesome table. Haven't played it yet but I HAVE played Star Trek 20th Anniversary which is quite a bit similar. Also TMNT has the "Ginzu Multiball" that is allowed for the highest-scoring player in a multiplayer game. Also YAY...
I know at the Pinball Gallery they have a Genesis but it has a much more awesome backglass with an abstract new-age type art. Definitely enhances the experience
I remember someone mentioned at Texas Pinball Fest that a FS employee was playing Viper Night Drivin'... is that the Stern? If so I'm interested to see how it plays, love the ramp shots and blacklight.
So Zen just released the new Heroes Within expansion for Star Wars pinball today for PS3 and PS4 (releases for all other consoles are tomorrow). The pack includes four tables: Han Solo, Droids, Star Wars™ Episode IV: A New Hope, and Masters of the Force. Zen is also proud to say that despite...
