I feel like I should add that the WCS license difficulty is just my opinion. :o I hope I'm wrong and that it's coming.
I played BBB at a show but don't remember it. I do remember many people saying something like "it's not all it's cracked up to be," and that I thought Airborne, which was...
I don't think WCS has been mentioned, but it's almost certainly in my top 10, although I have some trouble separating my personal preferences from what's being used in this poll. :) As a good player, my main problem with it is how hard it is to hit the blasted TV hole.
I know Whirlwind is in...
If I'd never played IJ, I'd put it in my list after Shadow. But I've played IJ tons and tons and that's the only reason it's not in for me.
WCS is a mega extreme license. I actually think it might be one of the very biggest licenses in pinball, after the Disney & Marvel ones. It's a shame...
I'd like to be able to perform a "soft" nudge with keyboard, sure. I'd like to be able to play anybody head 2 head, controller or not, except maybe on Big Shot or El Dorado.
No vote yet because I don't know what your idea is...
Well, I don't like the Supremes, the Tempations, or the Four Tops either. ;) For the Monkees, I don't care much for the 1960's Los Angeles sound, e.g., the Wrecking Crew sound. I've tried to...
3 licensed tables:
- The Shadow
- Johnny Mnemonic
- Indy 500 or Corvette or Judge Dredd or Demolition Man
and 4 unlicensed tables:
- Kingpin
- Big Bang Bar
- Airborne
- Fireball
Saving the ball isn't even the main point of nudging, or it isn't for me anyway. I nudge pretty much constantly, or at least when the ball returns to the flippers, to catch it or move it to a spot where I have a good flip at it. A third purpose is to move a target so that the ball hits it.
I...
Thanks for posting this! I think it looks great, and I hope it comes to SPA, along with the Premier and LE versions. I may be losing my mind, but this seems pretty exciting and almost approaching the WMS days. And I wish I had one in my den. ;)
You don't know how right you are... if I lived in such a city, I might not even play TPA at all (well, I'd need to be able to afford going to lots of tournaments too). But I think many people here live in good pinball cities.
This is the only reason necessary... if anything it undersells the case. I don't know how you'd do even 5% of the nudging required for pinball to be actual pinball if the buttons were on the top rather than side.
I'm curious if any production machine ever had top buttons. I think the Irons &...
I don't mind video modes at all if they're fun, fast, not too frequent, not the exact same thing every time, and award something significant when completed. So I enjoy the ones on AFM, MM, and ToM. I hate the ones on HD3e and CBW as much as you folks.
+1... this happened to me tons on Frankenstein. It made me so angry but it the ball came close enough to make it, and did make it occasionally, that I couldn't stop playing it. At least replays were easy. I didn't play Pinball Magic except on trips but I think I remember its steep ramp. Not...
