You don't need to get them in a single game. As long as you don't quit a game or reset the table, the letters stay lit from game to game until they're completed.

That's a good way of putting it. I prefer to lure 'em in with candy and stuff 'em in a giant cauldron of boiling water. Boring and generic I know but if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it?

At this time, given the evidence, I'd be inclined to say this thread is about as legit as either of the US Presidential candidates.

I managed to fix it by clearing all the app data, and re-loading an older save from prior to EBD's release. I lost a few goals here and there but nothing significant. Interestingly I'd have been screwed had save management not been manual, which is a bone of contention in another thread.

Indeed... the number of people who don't realize exiting the table resets the letters, or more importantly, exiting a game midway through via the pause menu does the same. I've had to explain it a couple of times now. It's the same in say Hurricane or EatPM with PALACE and ELVIRA respectively.

I suspect the US is different, the BBC block by IP address so I doubt any official or recommended apps would provide a workaround.

Yep, the Extra Ball button is mapped to the alternate right flipper.

Hmm. I guess I can try that and go back to an earlier save. I was able to change it in an early version of the beta that clearly had some other stuff in it for easy testing, such as DELUX being lit right from the start. Of course now I can't complete any goals let alone Wizards.

I figured it out, but I've no idea how I'm going to fix it. EBD on my tablet has tilt permanently switched off. This is undoubtedly due to a bug I reported during the beta when I was testing the options menu. Suffice it to say, don't mess with the Tilt option on any table if you care about...

We make plenty of suggestions during beta testing, many of which have been repeated in the forum, that have not been implemented. I guess that's what frustrates me most - seeing people ask about X and Y and why don't the testers do a better job.... when as far as I'm concerned, we are coming up...

The rules aren't very clear on it. It's simplest to say that the left lane alternates between EB and Special, and you can only collect one per ball, and it will only switch when you collect either the EB or Special.

None of this was reported by anyone in the beta. And it also appears to be limited in scope, since I've played High Speed without a crash. Perhaps try re-downloading the tables that are crashing.

Okay, they're working on my 'phone but not on my tablet. Think I'll try a complete re-install on my tablet in a bit, see if that clears it up.

I'll be giving EBD a solid 8-ball in the poll, which puts it above STTNG and TZ (both 7s) and level with MM, AFM, TAF, ToTAN and R&T which are all 8s. That seems about fair to me. It would be joint 10th on my personal rankings with a load of other 8s.
