High Speed has a full orbit where you can shoot around the circumference of the playfield. I've tried a little bit to think of an earlier game with such an orbit. Is there one?

Due to the theme, I think it'd require hell to freeze over. :) It's #106 on IPDB, that's pretty high for a Stern. That's a pretty ugly playfield, but there are worse. The PF looks very interesting to me, though. (I don't know anything about either this or Family Guy.) I don't know which...

That's a good-looking playfield, for Stern anyway. I sure hate those as-boring-as-possible letters though. I bet getting permission to make the "SPIN" decal took a few weeks -- it's like avant garde compared to the others.

It may be worth saying that the outlane special is one of those things that isn't caught by the TPA programming every time. There's a note or two about it in the BSD thread, and it took me 2-4 specials for me to get the goal. You should wait to get Altar #15 until you're in multiball, or at...

I suppose you would expect Bronze > Gold in the first months of a platform. But it strongly depends on what platform the very best players are on, and when/if they choose to play. I'd be very surprised if any division beat this month's PC Bronze scores with Tarek, and same for next month's PC...

The Fixx - "Secret Separation" (1986, #19 US) How did I forget this classic by the mighty Fixx until now? It hit #19 US, #83 UK, and #1 Album Rock Tracks in July 1986.

I love everything except the jokey DMD animations.

The Pretty in Pink soundtrack is one of the great ones. This selection reached #21 in the UK in Janurary 1986.
