My heart just wasn't in it this time. I ended in the top 20 the last two tournaments but this time I only played each table 3-4 times and ended just below the top 100 I think.
I believe anyone can get to the top 20 if they just have enough time on their hands.
I really think they should put a...
Same here. We have one at the club house of the pinball club I just recently became a member of (along with ca 100 others) and I have seen at least a couple go up on sale here in Norway the last year. It is not as sought after as Cactus Canyon I guess
Looks like the L.E.D. version. ;) No pink reflections anywhere in sight. Looks really good. Would love to see a hi-def quality video of this

Good one! That is my worst nightmare :D
This is not looking good for Microsoft. My guess is that the 499 price tag will change sooner rather than later. Is there anything at all that speaks in xbox 1 favor? Yes you can talk to it if you are very very lonely but talking with yourself would probably be better company ;-) Xbox shut down...
To me (with very little experience mind you) I find the em machines from 74- a lot of fun and almost on par, if not better than most of the 80' machines. Those before 71, especially those with short flippers = drain monsters and not very fun to play
Since the first poll thread has been deleted I better repost my voting and of course I highly suggest that everyone vote the same as me ;)
In alphabetical order:
1. Abra Ca Dabra (Gottlieb, 1975)
2. Centigrade 37 (Gottlieb, 1977)
3. Fast Draw (Gottlieb, 1975)
4. Hokus Pokus (Bally...
Looks good. Only played Champion Pub once in real life and was not that impressed. The music got on my nerves after a while (but come to think of it, I was pretty hangover)
Looking forward to giving it a second chance :)
Always nice to see some good pictures. Thanks for sharing. Looks like they are all in top condition.
If you played them all, what was your favorite? I have never tried Tron before but it sure looks nice:p
Almost everything Gottlieb did from 75-79 looks pure class to me. Those I have tried in Visual Pinball is right up there with my all time favorites. To anybody wondering what it's all about, please check out Pinuck's VP versions on vpforums.org. Out of this world!
How about another Hall of fame...
I am not exactly bursting with excitement ;) Ac/Dc and Slayer is not what I call Cream of the crop tables, more like top of the crap pile. I just thought it nice to share the info.
I will certainly check it out since it is free but no high hopes.
Let's hope Pinball Rocks from Sony is a little bit sharper and a little bit more fun to play than their previous pinball attempts
Here is the promo:

bavelb, I still say it's a snooze fest ;)
It's not always about the main plot for me but how engaging the book is overall. I did read book 4 long before the tv series. So long ago in fact that I forgot to call it by it's real name. Easier to just call it GOT 4 than " A Feast for Crows, A Song...
I remember I got halfway into book 4 of this series and gave up on it. It has the same problem as all big Fantasy series I have read. The writer just do not know how to end it and the pace slows down to a crawl. Same Thing happened to me on book 4 of "Game of Thrones" a real snoozefest. I bought...
