The first text adventure I managed to finish was Mind shadow on the 64 but it had pictures. Been hooked on adventure games ever since that. I still play a lot of adventure games today and I went rampant and broke last year on kickstarter with all the old adventure game legends popping out all...
Shortly after GDC could mean anything from hours to weeks but some good news in the pc department is in dire need. There has been a drought for far to long. Bring it on, I am ready :p
If you enjoy Gotlieb classics from the 70' be sure to check out Pinucks full screen tables. They have incredible physics and graphics. Centigrade 37, Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, Charlie's Angels, Joker Poker, Jack's Open, Sinbad, Abracadabra.
There is many other great recreations in...
My biggest problem with this app is the physics. There is no flipper bounce at all and I just found it incredibly boring to play. No harm in spending a few bucks to download it and try it out for yourself. If you are a fan of dream pinball or the original machines it is probably worth checking...
Everything is pretty crappy and be warned, for the the price of the app you get one table. Every other (2 more so far) cost you as much as the app. You want a crappy day/night slider? you pay some more. You want 5 balls instead of 3 etc, etc. The graphics is lowres, the physics is bad. Horrible...
This app does at least one thing and that is to appreciate tpa even more ;) It does other things of course but if I start talking about them Heretic will sound like a nun by comparison, so I'll drop it ;)
Gongrats indeed. Shadow is a great machine and would be on my short list if I had room for more pinballs. Looks like it is in stellar condition also.
It is far from the easiest game around so you will have plenty to play for, for a long time. Hope you have tons of fun with your machine
You...
Hey, hey! Congrats. They will send mine in a couple of days. Can't wait. Let us know how you like it.
I have been trying to sort out the most important tables on Visual pinball to install and there is more than 100 machines so far I want to fit inside this beauty. Could be a lot of work. Ha, ha
To OP. This is a fantastic Idea. I would love to play a pinball game where there is always new things you could do like that. The possibilities is endless. Was never a fan of games like sims, football manager etc. but this I would play. A lot :)
Man. I wish each poster was restricted to one post in these interview threads. (including me of course) Things are getting out of hand a bit lately.
Poor Jeff has to sort trough the debate to find the good questions. Voting starts after ;-)
Yes. I will join the choir and give you a warm welcome. Some excellent points about things that could improve and you said it with ten times the class of the usual whining by us regulars :-)
It is very refreshing to get a fresh perspective on things. Don't be a stranger and do not be afraid of...
Fair points from both sides but I agree with PIN WIZ on this.
Anyway I just can't stop thinking about this when I read this thread. No offense to anyone
I do not agree with Roger Sharps view on this, but he looks on it from another perspective than me.
namely what attracts new people to a machine standing in a bar if they are not very familiar with pinball. He thinks of everything in terms of how pinball can survive and thrive as a product to...
The game looks different on every platform. It even looks very different on the same platform, (REF: Ios and Android) depending on your device, the resolution and graphic power.
And it will look different on PC and the next consoles.
Even the beta for the pc looked different from the xbox 360...
