I wouldn't be upset if they dig deeper into pin history. But I'm not really a fan of the no-flipper and small flipper eras. To me it just always feels more like luck than skill. You just try and keep the ball alive and hope you hit something of value. Maybe I wouldn't feel that way if I was...
It's certainly easier than the original Firepower IMO. Games can last pretty long. The slings are kind of friendly. Good thing the left ramp is tough or this pin could be a creme puff. For me it's a middle of the road pin. Nothing memorable, but not a bad pin.
Was just thinking that I would really be into seeing Kiss Premium being added to the Stern app. I know the dot animations are weak and the Gene head can be SDTM happy on many of them I've played, but I'm jonesing to play it. Music licenses seem to always be a nightmare, but I'm going to...
Love love love that album. The intro to Sweet Jane alone gives me chills. Super jealous that you got to see that tour. Wish I could have been right next to you for that one.
Ever have a pizza burger? There was a cafe (near my church, but now gone) when I was a kid that made them. So goooood!
I usually prefer pizza to a burger though. Toppings?
They did a medley of Waiting For My Man/Heroin. Started it with a bass solo. It was very cool. It was very much a Foreigner crowd. Lots of 50ish gals in the crowd. I don't think many people there enjoyed it, but it was the gem of the night for me. I like when a band gives you a surprise...
Finally got to see Cheap Trick tonight. Fun live band. One of those bands I've always wanted to see, but just couldn't get to one of their shows. They even did a Velvet Underground cover.
Also saw Jason Bonham Zep Experience and Foreigner too. It was a long night. I'm getting to old for this.
Firepower isn't meant to be a flow game. You really need ramps and orbits to establish that. But it is fast. Balls will often return to you very quickly. It's a an ccurate shooters game. It takes careful shooting to setup and start multiball. This pin doesn't guarantee multiball like many...
My wife and I saw it in the theatre as well. We enjoyed it. Good not great. It's not really fair to compare to the original that we have such fond memories of. But that's the first thing everyone does.
I love that kind of stuff. I will check it out for sure. Thanks NW
Watched the Jan 2017 Journal ep. Who knew Rhode Island had a comi-con? The movies section was good as well. Nice to see any form of Ultraman get a mention. I grew up watching Ultraman when I was a kid (have the dvds too).
I certainly wasn't singling you out BV73. I apologize if it came out that way. I just meant the general vibe of the thread.
Totally agree with you on game breaking bugs, especially repeatable ones that show up during a long/good game. Keep banging the drum and reporting them. They definitely...
I have been going with start mode as well. I will give your method a shot though. Sounds like a good way to bump up the score and make replay a bit easier to hit.
Thanks for the tips guys. keep them coming. I find GB a very tough pin, and could use all the help I can get. Good games are not...
For me, I only play AC/DC, Star Trek, and Mustang on SPA. And all three play well enough for my skill on ios. I enjoy them as much as any pins released on TPA. We have plenty of pins to keep me busy, but it's hard not to constantly covet what is coming next. I've played enough Ghostbusters...
