Haha, very true. Shoot the pyramid callout gets old very quickly. But I do enjoy the pin quite a bit. I assume the license is an issue, or we probably would have seen it already.
I'm with you Striker, as good of a use of license that I can think of. I like to pick out the callouts when watching the movie. And how great is the multiball start? The whole arcade would look when that baby started cranking up.
Saw them a few times back when Dickie Betts was still with the band. Just one of those superior live bands. Two drummers, guitars everywhere, and Gregg's voice melding into to that classic organ sound he was famous for. The kind of shows that left you dazed in the parking lot, sweaty, tired...
I want every pin they release, even if it is something I rarely will play. I love the variety. But, yeah, just buy what you like. Or wait til the seasons over then decide if you want the whole season or not (if you are the patient type).
Those Paragon bottom flippers are frustrating fun in...
In my experience yes, the saucers act pretty much like the TPA version. Lip outs and rolling just off the edge are pretty common. Worse on pins with a lot of wear. I can't remember if they grabbed better back in the day when the pins were new though. Just too long ago for me to recall.
Your complaint is with Stern not Farsight.
It's worth the "bother". Mustang, AC/DC, and Star Trek are excellent. You can easily make an argument that those three are as good as any 3 pins in TPA. Plus Ghostbusters is on the way. Stop missing out man.
I've never made to encore. But I'm also not one of the better players. I also struggle with this table, as I do in real life. But I find it super fun anyway.
Congrats Extork
I'm sure Jive Time would play much better than it did in PHOF. Ive played it in real life and it's not that bad. Wouldn't be my choice for an EM pin, but not as awful as it appeared in PHOF.
