We made this the main topic of our podcast today. Hopefully shining a bit of a spotlight on it. As Jared pointed out though, this is a 10 year old engine with probably many years of ‘data debt’. All software gets it, which is why Zen has probably gone through the 3 versions they have.
Perfect, thank you. When looking at the mobile version of this site, you don’t see the devices used or any of that other info.
I will have a look at those tables myself and see if I have same issue. I’m assuming you’ve filed a support email? If I get the same crashes I’ll make sure to mention...
Can we please stop with the “unplayable” rhetoric? I have played this game since day one and have yet to come across a table that simply would not play. Not saying there haven’t been issues, but some have said a table was unplayable simply because an insert didn’t light up. I have had game...
I liken System 11 machines to the games that come out near the end of a console’s life cycle. Squeezing every last bit of performance out of the constraints given, often times the games become more creative than when given a seemingly unlimited power. When DMD came out, there may have been more...
This week we are all going to help a little alien survive as long as possible. You guessed it, playing E.T. in my dreaded survival mode! No upgrades of any kind either, because the FBI said that would be unfair since all their weapons got turned into walkie talkies.
Daaaaammmn, Gina!
Some serious scores got posted in 1 ball for Champions. Don't even wanna think what a 3 ball game would look like. Here's top 5:
1. NimbleLee 2 billion
2. XAF//SMerrell 1.2 billion
3. shutyertrap 1.1 billion
4. pr0mkin6 805 million
5. tritium03 774...
I just watched video and when in multiball, you have to lock one of the balls in order to get back up to the upper playfield. If anything, I'd be worried about how quick the ball exits from upper to lower and how quickly the screen will adjust for that.
That's some pipe dream you got going on there! If they were able to get the license, they'd have to pay the same as Zen just did. Thing is, Zen probably paid for exclusive rights to the license for a digital pinball version, for an exclusive period of time. It's why South Park was never going to...
I had no idea if Death Race was from Universal or not, just that it's Corman. Also, is it even quotable? You know, for table callouts?
I could go for an Animal House table, and if you really wanted to show off Zen at its most 'not in the real world' you could do a Backdraft table with fire and...
Well it looks like Zen is at it again with their Universal Pics license! 3 Jurassic Park tables coming to Pinball FX3 on Feb 20th. There's Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, and Jurassic Park Pinball Mayhem.
I suggest they eventually do a 3 pack called Car Mayhem, that would be Fast and the...
The emulation was actually posing some issues, something to do with active state of lower play field while ball is in the upper. I don’t know the exact circumstances, but is has something to do with if the ball falls from the upper without hitting a switch, there is another on the lower so the...
The prices I see on eBay are usually a lot higher than what I hear guys in my league talk about, so that’s why I said that. Of course it also depends on if you are buying a show quality table vs a players table. The ones you seem to have all look like fully tricked out models.
Well Pasha was certainly an experience, right? Here's your top five:
1. NimbleLee 100 million
2. ricardo.labbe 68 million
3. XAF//SMerrell 58 million
4. tritium03 46 million
5. Brummpony 44 million
Gonna go back to some single ball play on Marvel's Woman of Power: Champions...
Listen to our just released BlahCade Pinball Podcast and you'll hear me tuck my tail between my legs and offer up some info. But I'm happy to admit when I'm wrong, so yeah.
They have known about it for quite a while, don't know if they a) view it as a problem, or b) know why the ROM is behaving like this. Still, can't hurt to wave the flag once more and point to it.
