Two things:
1. I actually used to think that the "FREE ONLY." text that sometimes appears at the end of the Vacation Jackpot sequence was a bug. But, no, I guess not, it's actually in the game.
2. Discovered a new "lost my game"-type bug. I was accidentally nudging during the VJ freakout, but...
I know this sounds like a dumb question, but do Logins carry from platforms to others? I have a Mac and would like to have all the tables I have on my iPad.
Y'know, I personally think that both BK2K and Rollergames are the games that introduced his brilliant flow designs. Particularly Rollergames in the magnet shot and the combos.
Good news, we can officially qualify that Tee'd Off IS emulated! Thanks!
In my opinion, the table art has been greatly improved on since the first pack. No more pink lighting. BTW, Tee'd Off's angle looks kinda indirect, like the one in CFTBL.
Boston pinball fans unite!
From the Boston Pinball Association, a pinball tournament will be held at Pinball Wizard Arcade October 12th, starting at 12:15 PM. The tournament will be high-score based and feature tables from the 80s - 00s. More details will be posted here as time goes on.
Something small I noticed in Whitewater was that there actually IS a replay animation (discovered in the colorDMD video someone posted). It shows Bigfoot jumping into flowing water, and has he makes contact, the knocker sounds. In TPA, it just seems to whack without us knowing.
Also, I'm pretty...
Was playing a bit of Taxi this morning. I was going for the M-Ball shot from a weak plunger shot, and despite multiball starting up, the main music kept playing. However, for the rest of the m-ball, the hurry up and jackpot music ran as usual. I'm pretty sure this is like the Scared Stiff Crate...
The scores are officially up!
Congratulations to dylan_h, Crusty Booger, and Tripple I. I have landed in 32nd place due to a valiant effort on Flight 2000, and hope to kick some pinbutt next time around! :o
Enough nitpicking... I personally think this might be the next ACDC. I love the layout, lights and especially the ramps. While the lack of a cannon is noticeable, it still has plenty of stuff to make up for it.
Welcome to Pinball Arcade Fans, Bowen! It's so exciting having the winner of this year's PAPA championships to talk to. BTW, I've joined the Boston Pinball Associaition, very nice group.
You know, I used to love WH20. Until I entered the tournament and practically killed it. Seriously, the only thing I like in it now is 5x Playfield... Indianapolis 500 is a lot better.
