The only impersonators I know of are the ones mentioned in this thread: invitro, Tarek Oberdieck, vikingerik, AntonR, Ouazegaga. There are numerous (100 to 200) instances of a username with two leaderboard scores for one table, but I don't know how many of them are impersonators.
Well also...
I blocked the 5.44B score, and it was apparently actually deleted entirely by Farsight (not just filtered), sometime between 2015-05-10 and 2015-05-12.
This is a late reply so perhaps you've already resolved... I've had the 627M and 250M scores blocked for a long time, and FS has filtered out both. I don't see a bad 3rd score though, now or on 2015-04-17, or in the leaderboard history.
I like a lot of S2 tables but yes, I do think I like WWind the most.
I used to try the backhand lock a lot, but I couldn't get it going in my 170M game. But I couldn't get the post pass going in MB, either... I actually mostly flailed in MB until I could hit the lock.
This happens on PC, but...
I know that it is somewhat unfair to the platforms that don't have certain tables to allow points on those tables. But I feel that waiting on a table to make all platforms would be worse. I think this is the main issue, but there are some other quick things...
- I think that most (all?)...
Do you play the (regular) MB over and over to rack up extra balls from the super jackpot? I got that from vikingerik awhile back and it makes the table too easy, the little door you shoot to light lock and lock balls seems to be "on rails" and it is very easy to loop it six times in a row and...
The 1,399,999,999 score on PotO is filtered out by Farsight on the web leaderboard page. That username has a score of 999,999,999 on five other tables and some or all of those are filtered out as well, and I've had him blocked from my rankings for awhile. So it's the user, not PotO. :)
This is a very good question and I agree with almost all of the answers. Could difficulty be objectively measured by play time? Or is objective a bad way of measuring difficulty? :)
I think the hardest is Scared Stiff, because the game-ending bug or bugs make getting a high score really hard...
We-hell, lookie here!
B-hye, cracky!
After my last MB, no directions were lit... I came here hoping to see info on this and there's fromduc ^^ with the story. I've of course never gotten to that point on TPA, and don't remember it from real life.
This is #19 on the leaderboard. Got 67...
Yes, absolutely. Back when the game was new, I tried to get all my ranks higher than #1000, then #500, and so on. Most of my ranks now are above #200, except... [ranks as of May 6]
#209 HRC - I have barely played this one. I don't like Stern/Sega tables, though this one is more tolerable...
First off, there has been a lot of action in this thread recently, and I am definitely reading everything, but I haven't replied yet due to laziness. I have been working on another TPA-related project, and also when I start investigating these other impostor reports I always end up writing...
So the instructions clearly say "You can earn a maximum of six Extra Balls per game." Zaphod77 confirms here: http://digitalpinballfans.com/showthread.php/5174-Whirlwind-Tactics-amp-Strategies?p=136399&viewfull=1#post136399
Now I had a miracle of a first ball yesterday. I had 37M, 4 extra...
And now ALL FOUR series are being led by the underdog! I bet that hasn't happened in a while.
I love Memphis so much, but they gotta win Monday to become the favorite.
I boldly :) predict that Atlanta will come back but the other three underdogs will win.
Yes it looks pretty good. It's not the photos NEARLY as much as the computer-generated crap and the most-boring-possible fonts. All Stern (and most Sega) tables look like they were made with Microsoft Paint by a 7th-grader.
Just like the Brooklyn Nets' logo and uniforms.
I have a special...
