Not yet. I think I may hand off the screens to one of the Jr Programmers. =)
Glad it wasn't just my imagination. There were some other issues, figured I wouldn't bother reporting every issue. lol
I should have just worked yesterday, would have been more productive. It had been years since my last comicon trip. It's changed quite a bit. Can't get into panels unless you camp out the night before, too many people, and no parking anywhere.
I'll add that if it turns out to be necessary. I'm hoping it won't be an issue for anyone.
Yes it's still planned. Last I heard one of the guys here was looking into parterning or somehow getting us a cabinet.
GTX 680 might be a bit too much for Pinball. I think you should send it to me...
There isn't currently an option to turn it off. Did you want to turn it off cause of performance or cause you don't like it?
The table assets are always the same, the aspect ratio is handled by the camera transform matrices. So the assets should look correct for 16:9, 4:3 and 16:10
That's good to hear. So far everything appears to point that way.
We don't have a wide enough test range to give a good minimum specs here. Requires a DirectX 9 capable GPU with Shader Model 3.0. Using task manager it uses a little less than 500MB of ram on a few tables (I didn't check...
I didn't see any lists of requirements like the consoles have, so I don't think it'll be as painful as those are. From what I see, once we are released I imagine we'll be able to update with new table packs at the same time as mobile.
Should have no problems. It runs fine on our one test...

Unfortunately MS deprecated Direct Input which worked with all kinds of controllers for the newer XInput which really only works with the Xbox 360 Controller (or similar).
That said, I'm not sure which our engine is...
Doing portrait for 3D graphics is pretty easy. The cameras for portrait already exist because we've done 16x9 portrait on some of the mobile devices.
I have scaling working for menu graphics for different resolutions. The main issue left is updating all the screens so they look good in...
QA is testing the build I gave them now. Most likely they'll have a list of must fix bugs for me. Once we get those fixed we'll be able to do a beta. Hope to have some news soon.
When you say patch all the DLC in the core game, do you mean PS3 or Xbox 360? MS doesn't allow patches over 4mb, which I still can't understand. (although I seen some games with 100's of MB title updates).
DMD doesn't cause performance issues. The plasma displays (older style) are a massive performance hit. Notice the list of tables where it shows during attract mode are all DMD only.
As for DMD tables like Tales, Theater, Medieval, those didn't have that tech when we shipped, which is why it's...
