Don't be surprised if you are told they are not exactly the same. Improved graphics or physics or something like that. I think you are wasting your time. But good luck.
I think you might be better off buying the bundles for the same price as just the new pins. I think that in the future, SPA might be more likely to get updates than say a two year old pin from TPA. What if SPA gets new physics or ball spin? Which game will get the update first (if at all)...
I don't have a problem with adding the modern Stern pins either. But I don't think it would be a good idea to have a separate listing for pins that appear in both TPA and SPA. That could cause confusion. I'd only list those once.
But whatever smbhax chooses is ok with me. It's his rankings.
Glad you finally found one. I know you had been searching pin shows the last couple of years. The playfield looked pretty good. How was the playfield after closer inspection?
Shame you had to replace so much of the guts. But the lighting and sound are great In your vid!
I know this has become mostly a bug thread as it's hard to ignore them. But I did want to add my early impression of the newest Stern pins excluding the bugs.
AC/DC - I love this pin in real life. If I could own any modern pin, it would probably be this one. The SPA version is also a A+ for...
In real life I only played Star Trek a couple of times with its first release code and I wasn't all that impressed. But I have to agree it is now fantastic. AC/DC is also top notch. Both have deep enough rules to keep you busy for a long time. I also like Mustang more than HHBoy. Not as...
Really not much of a difference at all. One came with a pin and the free version didn't. No need for both versions. Stick with what you have. You aren't missing anything.
I know on iOS you need 1gb ram and must be running iOS 10. So that cut off some devices that TPA still supports. Don't know about Android though. So I can't help on that one.
I think iPad 4 is about the lowest iPad device supported. I wonder if the lighting is causing the crash? The lighting on Star Trek is very cool. The inserts look awesome, even on mobile.
I thought it was just me. You are the only other person I have seen mention it. Was beginning to think it...
I like Pistol Poker. It's a bit on the easy side, but the layout and rules made it interesting for me. Mystery Castle is the one I would really want. It's pretty rare, so I don't expect to see it. The only thing I know about garage band is the papa video.
It's just what it needs to run it. I even get some jitteriness on an iPad 4. I don't know if it's the emulation, the sound, the lighting, or a combination of these things. Need 1gb ram and iOS 10.
I went from an iPad 1 to an iPad 4 when that got all jittery. And this is making me go from...
