When head to head mode happens, then you can pick your person to battle against. I can't imagine anyone wanting to play one match that could possibly last that long, but I'm sure those people are out there!
Just for gits and shiggles, what game studio/developer/individual would people be cool with? I used to joke I'd want Polyphany Digital, makers of Gran Turismo, to get their paws on the game. We're talking about a company that went and recorded every sound they could, measured every variation, on...
I meant regarding the Stern app. Lots of info had been dumped in this thread, so just comb through it to get things started. Then people contribute info as they find it in the new thread, and thread starter could just edit and update original post.
And yes I know even that is a lot of work, but...
If anyone would like to start a "Here's what we know" thread that they could update the original post as things solidify into fact, I'd be happy to sticky it. Putting the questions/response is a great way of showing the context of the answer too.
The partnership is not magical, it is indeed a 3rd party. For some reason you can't wrap your brain around legal matters and the time it might take for all parties to agree on joint statements, instead spouting your aggravated agenda. NDA clauses are in effect, and you the consumer are not owed...
It's like a script writing itself! Just recounting the timeline of events will fill most of the podcast. It'll be up to us to make it entertaining.
Now for those that listen and had planned on supporting the kickstarter, we have these BlahCade t-shirts for sale you could spend that money on...
Remember gang, FarSight is being directed by Stern about when they can or cannot speak. I can almost guarantee you'll see a statement come from FarSight simultaneous with one from Stern. I'm very curious to hear the reasons, BlahCade has reached out to FarSight, and all we've gotten is silence...
Your opinion of contributors aside, you don't have your facts straight. This is not a Kickstarter for the whole app, it is just for doing AC/DC so that it might be a launch table too.
Now, about contributors. Why do you care so much about how they spend their money? I have seen in the past...
Yeah, the only license that matters is whether Stern had digital put into it, which didn't happen until possibly Metallica, but Star Trek for sure.
That does mean that any table older than that, FarSight will need to negotiate the license with the original IP holders, and that is bad news. Or...
Here is what I was talking about. You are on the page with all the tiles of tables. You select your table, and this pops up:
From there it goes to the table view with your ball choices in the lower left and the options menu top center.
I think we all "hoped" Stern would pick up the costs, but knew that was not likely. This just confirms the depressing truth.
For those wondering what FarSight is getting out of this deal, it seems pretty clear to me. They get the unlocked version of the game code, which eliminates the need for...
There was nothing to talk about with TPA this time. We record on Saturday now, release on Tuesday. Believe me, we'll talk about TPA this next weekend!
And by the way, I got a new printer. It's one of these new Epson printers with the ink tanks, so you don't need cartridges. I knew you'd be...
I do find it a bit funny to be mad at FarSight for implementing something that does not work with your 3rd party front end. Not saying it doesn't suck, but it is kinda funny. Like getting mad that the new speed radar cops are using isn't being detected by your fuzz buster.
Tough indeed, but now they have Stern promoting the thing too. That will hold a lot more weight with those players of the real world who don't really care much about the digital.
Look at it this way; you bought an iPad, and yet the next year Apple comes out with a new iPad that has a better screen, or a fingerprint reader, or better battery life. You bought what was available at the time, not what maybe will happen in the future. For the past few years, we have been...
Um, I'm using DS4 Windows and it works perfectly for me with TPA and Zen. I am using it connected with USB, not wireless. Also on Win10. I have 2 different configs, swapping d pad for analog stick.
$10 for contemporary? Okay. That could have been a whole heck of a lot worse. I really didn't expect it to be the same as TPA. That means with the kickstarter, you are in deed pre-ordering, which should make that no longer a bitter pill to swallow.
