Thanks Wolfson! Looking forward to trying out my new setup this weekend when I can get a hand setting everything up (my back can't take any heavy lifting).
Could you run your PS4 straight to your TV then run an optical audio cable to your receiver just for PS4 sound? Not ideal, but might be worth it to eliminate the lag...although I think you’ve fully transitioned to Steam for pinball anyways, right?
EDIT: might help for stuff like Guitar Hero too.
Yeah, response time is one of the most important things to me. I'm gonna put this 55" on a higher pedastal so I can put my X-arcade tankstick right in front of it.
Thanks for the thread. I recently ordered my first 4K TV and it should be here tomorrow. Sounds like my GTX 960 is gonna struggle though. I have a GTX 1060 on my laptop so I might have to roll with that for now and run an HDMI cable from that.
+1 to that idea.
Also, I’m really hoping they add the new WMS physics as an option for all new original tables, and even consider adding it to their older stuff. I’d buy everything in a heartbeat.
You know I’m a huge Allman brothers fan, so Derek Trucks is ace in my book. His wife is a great singer and musician too. Haven’t listened to all the TTB stuff, but really dig what I have heard. Seems like they’d put on a helluva show since I believe the band is pretty big too right?
lol not even close. First of all, I’m talking about an aspect of the Zen physics that have nothing to do with skill since I’m not nudging to save the ball from the outlanes and I’m talking about the natural tendencies of the ball, and secondly, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a good...
The outlanes feel more generous to me than you’d expect to see on the real pin (they were more brutal in the first private beta). Most of the time I don’t even bother nudging when the ball is over there because it bounces back towards the middle on its own around 80% of the time when it should...
