Update: This issue has been resolved by Zen in a patch so this fix should no longer be needed. Cheers to Zen for fixing it!

So I recently fired up FX3 for the first...
Exactly right.
As for digital pinball specifically, Farsight blazed the trail in a lot of ways. I was playing PHOF on my PSP in 2006. The first truly modern version of mobile digital pinball, before a "smart phone" even existed (the first iPhone didn't arrive till 2007 and it was quite awhile...
Well said, SYT. There’s no denying the impact Farsight has had on the popularity of digital pinball, and pinball in general. You can be absolutely sure that the barcades, pinball shows, tournament scenes, etc. would see smaller crowds if not for Farsight, not to mention the positive effect...
Plus competition is good. We don’t want Zen to become the Madden of pinball. History has shown us again and again how a game studio can become stale and complacent when they have no one to keep them on their toes. Not saying that would happen here, but you never know.
Did you try the demo? This is a night and day difference from TPA. I honestly could never go back after playing this, so I’ll gladly rebuy everything.
It’s basically like going from VCR tapes straight to Bluray.
You’re very welcome Fungi! Sounds like I should probably make a tutorial thread for this with a screen shot of the setting that needs changed since it seems to be a fairly common issue.

Exactly. Everyone knows how critical I’ve been of Zen’s physics over the years, but I’m in love with what they’ve achieved in this demo, so that says a lot...and this is just their first crack at realistic physics, so I’m excited to see them run with it to even greater heights. It’s an exciting...
Awesome news indeed! Let’s keep the discussion centralized to one thread here:

The gameplay and graphics are top notch. As someone who never really cared for Zen’s other pinball titles because the physics didn’t feel like real pinball, I’m blown away by the demo!
Kudos to Zen for staying faithful to a realistic simulation experience. This is the best thing to happen to...
