Table of the Week Club...Week 17: HARLEY DAVIDSON

Yes, cradling is a breeze while you have 4 balls bouncing around. Sure it is. And that's the thing, it's usually during multiball that I get curious about cities and how many I need or have gotten. Map ala Red and Ted would totally have been the way to go, but I'd even take the list like the...

Table of the Week Club...Week 17: HARLEY DAVIDSON

Having just spent a few hours playing this table, some thoughts... The layout isn't actually half bad. I think if the flippers were a little better tuned, this table would be much more enjoyable. Why do we have access to the center post at will? Shouldn't there be a limit on uses? Very odd...

Table of the Week Club...Week 17: HARLEY DAVIDSON

This will be one of those tables I play right up until the second I get the last wizard goal. Then it goes back on the shelf.

Table of the Week Club...Week 17: HARLEY DAVIDSON

Well it had to show up at some point, so get your motors runnin', because this week we play Harley Davidson. Maybe pretend it's Road Show? I certainly know I'll be looking in this discussion for the positives rather than negative, otherwise it will be a long week! Don't forget, ride to live...

Mad Max: Fury Road...was everything I hoped for.

I doubt it. The movie was storyboarded as a chase, and I think everything else was purposely only hinted at. Max's moment off screen I think is part of the old adage, less is more. Thought it was pretty badass.

Mad Max: Fury Road...was everything I hoped for.

I saw Road Warrior when I was 11 or 12, and then saw Thunderdome in the theater, which was a huge disappointment to me. Years later, after they took out the dub and put Mel's voice back in, I saw Mad Max. While interesting, all I cared about were the car chases, and Toe Cutter was no Lord...

Mad Max: Fury Road...was everything I hoped for.

While the story itself is simple, I think it has all sorts of more complex themes. Everyone seems to be latching onto the women refusing to be treated like objects and how it relates to politics today with women's rights and their bodies. I found the War Boys interesting in that they are kind of...

    Table pack #39 speculation

We sure are. Instead I'm just talking about Mad Max. Imagine that as a table, eh? Game would end with the entire machine collapsing in a heap of metal and fire.

    DX11 Public Beta Bugs

In the Xenon beta, we are currently also testing new flipper physics for that table only. FarSight seems to be making an effort to step things up, so we're getting there.

Table of the Week Club...Week 16: WHIRLWIND

I agree with your sentiment about house balls. In all the monthly league tournaments I play, house balls are very much a factor. I've beaten top 10 guys thanks to them getting some unlucky bounces. I feel in TPA it is the one thing we can use to make it feel more like a real machine.

Table of the Week Club...Week 16: WHIRLWIND

I'm debating on this or Centaur being the put up or shut up table. I think both can be equally punishing for no other reason than they want to, but I don't think the point spread would quite be so major with Centaur.

    DX11 Public Beta Bugs

I think the argument here is more likely that a high end rig should be able to have its fun and not be held back. GTA V can run in 4k, but only the most extreme computers will be able to do so. The rest of the world can still play the game though, and have it look every bit as good as the PS4 /...

Mad Max: Fury Road...was everything I hoped for.

Yeah, you could take the wife to Pitch Perfect 2 as a trade. Mad Max is not overtly violent, and it's also not just a bro fest of cars. They are more like mobile set pieces. The women in the movie are not there for eye candy or to be in peril, so there is a strong point of view for the female...

Mad Max: Fury Road...was everything I hoped for.

Just got back from seeing Mad Max: Fury Road and now I want to have long discussions, about it. Or just to compare the sh!t eating grin you'll have on your face with mine. Went and saw it in 3D, and while not important to your enjoyment, it also was very pleasing and easy to watch in that...

    DX11 Public Beta Bugs

Okay, more work for the art department. Here is the reward light as seen on Whirlwind... I like how the lighting on that is, but we really need the full display like seen on Earthshaker or Cyclone. Problem is, both of those and TAF have zero DX11 lighting effects applied. With Earthshaker...

    DX11 Public Beta Bugs

It's the emulation running in conjunction that hogs up all the processing, or so we've been told. Pinball FX does not have the emulation equation, so can run more efficiently while looking better.

    DX11 Public Beta Bugs

I've mentioned it in the private beta thread, but I'll put it here too. With Whirlwind, whenever the Quick Multiball is lit, the music cuts out. Also happens for the Mega Door (as Quick Multiball gets lit in there too). Another occurrence is if I have two balls locked and a ball ready to...
