TF300T also upgraded to this version, however I had to change the owner file permissions on the Bluetooth stack so it would actually turn on. Asus pushed the incorrect perms out by accident.
Apart from that, the version is performing well.
Or just wait until Ryan (Android Dev) releases the beta next Monday. Surely iOS already has the beta due to the extended approval process time on that platform?
I do agree about quality. But remember these Zen tables are built from the ground up. Not reproduced photo identical. This is where the quality differences come in I think.
Not to mention the different engine each game uses.
I'm loving Fear Itself as well.
Love the behind the flipper accelerator like on Nascar/Grand Prix.
Like the modes as well.
Infinity Gauntlet is fun, as is Moon Night.
Iron man isn't one of my favorites.
Boring, but incredibly quick and functional. On mobile, its three taps, and you're playing the table.
Unless the table you want to play is Attack From Mars, the TPA experience is not on par.
I'm looking forward to some UI optimization. I'm hoping the new UI designer well be very active on this...
From what I understand, the PAF Android community are the unofficial QE team for that platform.
Passionate community members, who specialize in knowing tables inside out, kind of make excellent testers. ;-)
What is frustrating is there seems to not be enough devs in the upstream areas...
I think that is why--for this feature only--we need to have a device cut-off.
Zen (sorry to bring up Zen, yet again, as a business model comparison) has recently made the tough decision to limit the game to Android 4.0.4 to ensure they can continue supporting the product correctly.
While I'm...
I don't know why it didn't auto update. Perhaps the res file was updated, while keeping the same version number as in the play store version, so there was no force update.
Hi grasshopper
Yep, the latest RES file for Dr Dude does not have the wires present. You need to delete (if you want to) the Rez file from your sdcard (Android > data > com.farsight.AndroidPinball.javaProject > files > TDrDude)
TPA will then prompt you to re-download the table file when you...

In one of the more recent Android beta testing threads (the Dr Dude/Firepower thread) Ryan said the reason why Android hasn't seen the high-resolution (not Textures: High - that's different) table models is because when tested on his available hardware, the tables did not run in a...
I'll create a thread in android for this request, so Ryan can formally track it.
http://digitalpinballfans.com/showthread.php/3890-Beta-Build-with-High-Resolution-Tables-Enabled
Ryan already has the high res models in place, but the tests he had done on the hardware Farsight owns indicates that most Android devices will suffer from performance issues from the high poly counts.
I would like to see a beta build with this feature enabled so Ryan could gather more...
[OFFICIAL QUESTION] Sound issues on Android.
On Android and iOS, there is a definite pause when in-game music loops.
For example, on No Good Gophers, the bass and drum riff that plays as you enter your initials is really noticeable.
And on Twilight Zone, the shooter lane music loops quite...
