Buckner and Garcia! Had that record as a kid in the early 80's and used to listen to it over and over. There were some other killer songs on there as well.
Sidenote: You might already know, but Scared Stiff has the reputation as one of the easiest games in TPA in terms of keeping the ball alive. I've honestly only played the TPA version a handful of times because it's such a time grinder and I'm not even that great of a player.
And yeah, totally...
Unfortunately the iOS app hasn't been updated since 2010, so it's probably not optimized for newer versions of iOS. Also it doesn't have the Necronomicon table. The four tables it offers are Last Gladiators, Night of the Roses, Dragon Showdown, and Warlock.
Ohhh, Last Gladiators is actually available on iOS. I played it quite a bit before TPA came along. It was fun for the time when there wasn't much else to choose from, but the physics are really repetitive though (the ball takes the same exact paths too frequently).
Hey neglectoid, how's it going buddy? You'd have to jailbreak it to use a PS3/4 controller, but you can buy controllers that work without jailbreaking. Check out the SteelSteries Nimbus for example:
