I agree with pinball be pinball. It reminds me of certain friends of mine that will only drink Coke, and absolutely refuse to drink Pepsi. Yes, they taste a little different, but they act as if it were orange soda or root beer. Or milk. It takes me a few balls in Zen to get used to the physics...
You guys are coming up with some interesting looks to the tables. I wish could it could overcome some of the poor choices for light sources that FS used. I refer to where light seems to be coming from overhead and lighting the tops of things. It is readily apparent when the apron or coin door is...
Such a great way to scoop up tables for next to nothing. I did this a year or so ago with Humble Bundle when I didn't have any PFX2 tables on the PC. I then waited for a Steam sale of 75% off to grab what I was missing.
Highly recommended
I think I'll listen to this on my flight home. It'll still be fresh by then, yeah?
And no, I don't recall anything either except Jeff going full Hulk during it. Or that's what I'd like to think happened!
And Sean, thanks for posting. I really didn't wanna do it from my phone while at work in...
That's a comical list of players! Now the question is, did you identify them by jerseys or faces? Because if you could remove the team name and change the number, the only thing lest to licenses would be NBA.
I love this table. It is one hurry up after another, really stresses you out! The unique scoring is the kicker for me. No millions of points, just basketball scores. Never played it with head to head mode, where two machines are linked. Would be awesome.
After really giving the table a look...
Earthshaker and Whirlwind are to blame for truly getting me into pinball back in '91. We had both at the arcade I worked at for a time. I've played both machines IRL recently, and Earthshaker kicks my butt every time. I do find both tables to be very similar, but the middle flipper shot on ES...
The problem is the past 2 years it has created a whirlwind of negativity on this forum. Believe me, I championed them posting the UI pics because I believed it was right around the corner. Here we are a year later, and nothing has changed. With FarSight, one should definitely not count their...
I think 'myth' is a touch strong for the situation here. Inaccurate scripting of rules for tables Williams themself never wrote full rules for is easy to miss. Dropping music or an image for the sake of having the table rather than not due to licensing cost is entirely up to Williams, or more...
I mean let's face it, 97% of all the Firepowers out there don't have the drops. Conversely, every Earthshaker I've played in the last year and a half has had the moving sign. It also doesn't affect gameplay like the Firepower mod does.
The moving quake institute is considered a mod. If FS sticks by the rules of the license, they are only allowed to put out production run versions.
I hate that policy by the way. Tables that had things cut purely for cost should have the chance to get those things back in. Would love to see...
It already is!

*Go! - Tones On Tail (this is the kick my ass song)
*America, F**k Yeah - Team America soundtrack...
I don't know. I've played recently two different collector's High Speed tables, and those flippers were plenty strong. No different from the Earthshaker or Funhouse that were adjacent.
