Calling it already...The Butters Show looks like the gem. I do like that they went with paper cutout versions if the characters. Seems the other table will be like the Star Wars tables with scenes to complete.
I just played Mousin' Around this weekend IRL and am officially on board for wanting this in TPA. Was a lot of fun and lots of variety.
I also played Paragon, which just ate people alive in the tournament (and not in a fun way), as well as 8 Ball Deluxe which did the same but in a fun way.
If the one interview is to be believed, Bobby said LAH would happen in season 5. Everything else I agree 100% about. Which sucks because of any DE table out there, Guns N Roses would be the one I'd want in TPA.
We try to give a solid pinball episode now and then! Other times we're just talked out on it, and it's fun to go off on other tangents. There are a bunch of pinball podcasts out there, but I think ours is the only one that is predominantly about video pinball. When we talk pinball that is :D...
You have to collect Catapult, Peasant, Damsel, Joust, and Troll badges, plus destroy all the castles just to start it. Then you are on a timer to do the actual Battle For The Kingdom. Seriously nerve wracking. The 2 times I got to it, my hands were sweating and I went into "don't screw up" mode...
PiNWiZ posts to the main page, and he is a very busy guy. He takes care of us though, so it should appear soon. A better way of getting the podcast though is to either subscribe to the RSS feed or go to iTunes and subscribe to us there. Jeff uploads the podcasts and then informs me so I can make...
See, that's how professionals do an interview! You could tell by certain word choices that they weren't really pinballers, but they obviously had done research and didn't sound like they were out of their league. I've interviewed Bobby a few times, and he can talk A LOT. You'll notice that they...
It's more fun than Goin' Nuts too. If there is a more detailed rule set that can be added, it's needed. To be honest, the machine is a novelty much in the same way as seeing giant sized claw games or massive digital Connect Fours at Dave and Busters. Once you get over the fact that it's strange...
You'll need to move TAF up to the 4 spot I suspect, as they want it out around Feb.
As for why they keep it secret? Could be because the price of the real tables might shoot up before they can buy one! I know they have a pretty good source for tables, but Norm has said if people see him coming...
I think the point is, operators did not wanna give up TAF as one of their tables because it was a cash cow. So if they only had 3 tables on location, the rotation just dropped by a 3rd. That is that many fewer locations for distributors to put machines in, so they in turn drop their order...
It's the penultimate episode before our 1 year anniversary!
On deck this podcast, shutyertrap, Jeff Strong, jaredmorgs, and Sean DonCarlos (he lives!). We get into some reactions to podcast #11's interview with Bobby, shutyertrap goes off on idiot Redbox customers, Sean gets us Lost in the Zone...
I'm not a fan of freemium, but if they followed what Blizzard did with Hearthstone, that'd be awesome. That game never hits you over the head with purchasing ads, it allows you to play and earn gold with relative ease, and the only penalty for not paying is you have to grind to move forward...
Well this is fun.
So I was vaguely aware of the Gottlieb collection, but remember hearing it wasn't that good, and it was Gottlieb. I had Microsoft Pinball Arcade on the PC, and that was all Gottlieb. I never got much out of that program, but that led me to finding Visual Pinball. This all...
Again, this would be targeting a different audience than us. Think about it...you already probably own the season. And as for the original creation table, well they have no way of doing IAP on consoles or on Steam. So quit thinking of it as a TPA table, and more as a new app from FarSight. Like...
I doubt there will be "Chef" anything. Matt and Trey didn't take to kindly to Issac leaving the way he did.
As for the humor...for starters, South Park has moved way beyond fart and poop jokes. Sure, they still do them, but it is no longer the punchline to the joke. In terms of language, Zen...
