I imagine they do. At this point I wouldn't mind seeing them starting to reskin/retheme tables that will be impossible to get. Honestly, as much as many people thought the Ghostbusters was not that great of a table, it showed they were able to do it, implement a theme pretty well and improve on...
well no guarantee the kickstarter would be for TSPP. All signs have pointed to it in the past and no reason that they shouldn't be able to unless Zen got some sort of no compete clause in their recent licensing contract with Fox. I doubt Zen cares too much. They've repeatedly stated they only...
I remember another recent thread where it sounded like they are rearing to go on a Kickstarter in the near future. Difficult to say what's going to happen. Farsighted is good at keeping things under wraps for the most part and don't reveal much of anything until just before it comes up (even...
Yeah, it really does that these companies aren't willing to play ball. Leaves a lot of fans hung out to dry. You could also add Spider-Man into the tables that probably won't happen. Even if the table is based on the movie, they would almost certainly need the likeness rights to Spidey from...
Dreamworks is not owned by Disney. It is its own company and has offices out of Universal City (I.E. Universal Studios). So that possibly frees up a couple tables.
The music is anything but overrated. The table and theme is great but the gameplay can be accomplished with just using your right hand for 90% of the game if you so desire. Not very balanced and once you get the timing down of the upper play field loop you can go continuously with it. I still...
Usually 2 spooky tables per year(not season). I say we get both Frankenstein and both bone busters this year in packs 43 and 44. But it's a tossup which one will come first. I believe bone busters first. Just to break from the norm!
No, as unreal as it is, it also falls in line with the traditional pause feature of home gaming that has been prevalent since the mid 80's. In that case you were able to do something you couldn't with an arcade game. I understand the sentiment but leave it in the hands of the user if they want...
There tend to be lots of the tokens on eBay. My guess is that they minted a significantly higher number than what anyone ever could have used. Probably anticipated people keeping them and operators needing replenishment but the production run of the table ended up far lower than probably foreseen.
This table is very fast. Probably one of the fastest tables without the benefit of cannons and kickers doing all the work. Oursler was a genius in designing tables with gratuitous amounts of natural speed. Even his early tables are some of the faster, crazier layouts in the early 80's
I would be pleased to see anyone making the modern sterns. They've been on a roll for the last few years with some really great tables that stand up to many of the classic wms games in terms of bells/whistles and playfield layouts.
It's so interesting stern had really been showing lots of...
It definitely seems like zen will be taking over stern reproductions. Who knows what the farsight contract has and if there are any conditions that would allow zen in without any legal issues.
It could be a good thing. With their considerable resources, they may be able to bring many popular...
No gottlieb this season. Very interesting. Very exciting though. I think if they can create a token collection side-attraction as well as having standard and timed game modes out of the gate, this could be one of the best releases of the entire game.
I should probably hang out in chat but never have time or its empty on the rare occasion I popped in. Despite that, I have been able to link up with people on Facebook and a couple of cool dudes in real life and it is really cool, even from a distance, to have even a tiny friendship and enjoy...
