The first thing I noticed when playing this table is that the first 4 or 5 digits on the bottom score display are shown on the right hand side of the top display.
The table also plays really slow, even the initial entry screen is slow!
EDIT: These bugs are still there after the EU super patch...

Yes it does, I never knew that X can be used as the launch button, I always use the right stick to launch on all the tables with a launch button.
All the other tables on the PS3/Vita can launch with down (or up?) on the right stick but for some reason you can't use this to 'hold the launch...
I've been playing this table a lot on the Vita, but the first time I played it on the PS3 I noticed that you can't 'hold' the launch button with the right stick (but you can on the Vita)
Another one for the master lists and super patch.
I finally got round to playing this on the PS3 and the first thing that struck me is how purple everything is, even the white targets are purple!
Hopefully these weird PS3 colour issues will be addressed in the super patch.
DMD on backbox is only showing the top line & score box showing too soon
I just noticed that the DMD display on the back box only shows the top line of the display (which has been stretched 2x vertically)

Another thing I noticed is that the score box pops up...
While playing my first game after clearing all the standard goals, the goal 5 completed notification popped up after clearing 200,000, when I checked the goals it says 2,000,000.
It still beats me why the standard goals disappear from sight as soon as they're completed

I understand what you're saying here, the HUD is a perfect position in the corner on nearly all the tables apart from a few tables (FH & BoP are the only ones I can think of at the moment)
The overscan problem shouldn't affect the player/ball numbers moving though.

I totally agree on the above.
Now that Black Knight's getting a makeover could the ball number sword be moved up to the top under the score, there's a few more PHoF tables with ball/player numbers at the bottom (Firepower etc) could these also be moved up by the scores?
On the subject of score...
This happens on a lot of different table's menu screens on a lot of platforms. Hopefully it will be fixed with the new UI update.

This looks a lot better than the old one. Hopefully there will be a way to start a 2 player game without having to set the number of players every time, and seperate options for each table (camera/DMD/multiball cam/flipper options etc. also at the moment players 2, 3 & 4 don't use the same...

1: The tables with italic scores have the top right of the corners of the numbers cut off (Gorgar is the worst example of this)...
While on the subject of high scores, some of the pre DMD tables with an added initial entry screen haven't got a backspace option.
Also on the Vita could the select letter button be on the X key rather than just the touchscreen?
