I wouldn't say never, but 5 years down the road I could live with, provided Zen works with other manufacturers tables until that time, which we otherwise might 'never' see. Zen would of course like to minimize risk and why put out a couple of Atari tables when you can issue Stern tables?
That would be cool to have! As a kid I played that on the Atari Lynx (together with Elvira and the Party Monsters it was included in the Pinball Jam cartridge) - the first digital recreations of 'real' tables I ever played. Maybe some people at Zen also had a Lynx :)
Whatever you want to call it (I call it "anything you can do, we can do better. We can do anything better than you" syndrome), I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY hoping to see at least ONE great table that wasn't released in TPA before. Not just on Zen, also on FS for not releasing anything for a long...
This is the Zen Studios section.
Anyway, back on topic, any word out of Zen yet when they are planning to release Vol. 3 now that they have the mobile platforms out "on store shelves"?
Apparently the Tournament issues have been solved on the platform, so while the website Tournament stats do not work, the tournament is in fact live:

Tournaments every 2...
Farsight should start now with thinking about completely overhauling (from the ground up) the game for current-gen PCs and next-gen consoles (PS5 et al.) in order to be ready for when they launch. I'm sure in order to get proper frame-rates on what is now low-end hardware, a few corners were cut...
Hear, hear. Part of my excitement about Zen getting in the "real" pinball business was hoping for a continuation and seeing some new-to-digital pinball machines. So far (Vol. 1-3) it looks like the "mine's better than yours" show. That's a win for us, as we get great pinball machines in the PFX3...
Just after you buy the pack, you need to go to the little down arrow (inside a square) for 'download'. Wait until it's installed (notification will pop), then return to application. That works for me. Unlike TPA, these Add-ons need to be downloaded individually.
I wonder why the 'original' factory high scores aren't used. Either they have been pre-programmed or they should be zero. It'll add to the preservation goal and you'll (almost) never run into problems like this.
With pre-programmed I mean: when you take a brand-new, never used...
I actually enjoy Whoa Nellie. I accepted to pay the asking price also because I want TPA development to continue, especially since a new license holder is (was?) to get on board, rumour being it's Capcom. But people do have a point that QA can improve.
I'm hoping that Zen will start including 1 table that's not already in TPA in every pack. That makes commercial sense as well, since it'll be FX3 exclusive.
Yay! So the November 7 party is cancelled. Great opportunity to send some $ Farsight's way too, there's still a business case to keep TPA up and running. Hopefully another table constructor license will drop soon to replace W/B.
Looks like the post just above yours was Tom's most recent post.
Anyway, mark your calendars, November 7 is going to be the Two Months Without Big Buck Hunter/Whoa Nellie! On PS4/XBox One Party
Tom separated the PS3/VITA from the PS4 so we *should* be able to still get tournaments on the PS3, however in order for tournaments to be fair, all tables that are in the tournament should still be for sale. I own every table (except Addams Family Gold) so I can't test, but without updates I...
Sony confirmed PSN ID change is coming;

Can TomDevaney or someone else at Farsight discuss how this affects TPA and SPA on PS4, and the PS3/VITA versions please? I know the latter...
