I'm still using Windows7 for my pinball cabinet. If you have a newer version of Windows, you may try to install a newer .NET framework. Version 4.8 is the latest.
Hello! My cabinet + FreeCamMod still works fine. So, my guess is that it's a Windows related issue. Maybe you could try re-installing the .NET framework (4.5.2).
I've been wondering the same thing, regarding alpha-numeric tables. Maybe Zen is working on custom DMD animations for tables like Funhouse, EarthShaker, Taxi, Diner, Black Knight 2000, Whirlwind, Bride of Pinbot, etc.
My guess is that we'll see more DMD tables. Maybe we'll see some stuff not previously released in TPA (say, Indiana Jones, Congo, The Shadow). In actuality, I'm looking forward to *any* table (or collection/pack) that Zen releases. Licensed, un-licensed, DMD, alphanumeric, whatever. Bring 'em on!
It's been 11 months since Farsight has added new content (Whoa Nellie and Big Buck Hunter). Why so long? I'm interested in what is this new content and what exactly is "soon". We'll see...
On Steam, I now have Mac version 1.81.1 #5 which includes updates to Cactus Canyon, Bride of Pin-Bot, Creature from the Black Lagoon, AC/DC, Dr. Who Master of Time. I'm not sure what changes have been made, but the framerate seems improved (no laggy ball movement). BTW, I'm on macOS 10.14.6
I haven't played TPA on my Mac in quite a while. Though, recently I started it up and it says versions 1.80.1 #56 All I know is that I can play all the tables, including the Stern ones (AC/DC, Ghostbusters, Mustang, etc.) So, that gives me 100 tables. Nice!
My first paying job was mowing yards; I was just a kid. I briefly worked in a fast food restaurant after high school. Upon graduating college, I started an Information Technology consulting business. It was quite successful over the 16-17 years of operation. Nowadays, I mainly flip (and/or rent...
I found and played Congo, for the first time, last Friday. It's an excellent pinball table! Another great one, IMHO, from Williams. I'd love to see it digitized.
So far, I've seen pinball machines in two episodes of Gomer Pyle USMC. In "Gomer and the Dragon Lady" from 1964, there's a pinball called Tropics by United. In a later episode called "Dynamite Diner" from 1969, there's the pinball machine Central Park by Gottlieb. I immediately recognized that...
I use a wired XBOX360 controller in my cabinet. The rumble motors have been removed and instead connected (via custom circuitry) to a shaker motor. Works good for TPA, Zen Pinball FX, Pinball Wicked, Zaccaria, etc.
I am happy to see TPA for mac updated, after all this time. Though, it has some problems: broken gamepad/controller settings, and missing achievements & high scores. Also, camera angles are not moving...for example, when in camera changes to the backglass, in Pistol Poker and Bonzai Run, it...
