I basically just followed my same nudnick style of format with this table as well. Ball does look huge in plunger, but seems to shrink up a bit when in play on table. Views play great though and this is a great table as well.
This is going to sound crazy .... So numpad '"0" is overlay HUD on / off ... you have num lock on while running MOD? right?
I say this because I actually use num lock for my nudge key. When I have to go back to edit Cam, alot of the time have to hit my numlock to get the HUD to show again...
So like you Robert ... I spent the better part of this day tweaking. I'm done as well ... I call this pack the "Nudnick Ultimate View Pack". I actually went back and tweaked all my Backglass views as well with an FOV at or near 1.30. So now all my perspectives are pretty good to go. I leave the...
Thanks for posting your Cams Robert! Finally ... I've been waiting for someone else to post up some portrait views. Its so easy to swap out the cam files. So, you wouldn't happen to have seasons 1 and 2 as well? ;)
You're right! FOV 1.5 on the Hybrid view does look better and twists the flippers to a more realistic perspective with that view. :p *Sigh* ... I'm definitely going to update again. I'll throw it back up here when done.
I personally hate logging into Steam all the time. I share my PC with my kids and they have their own Windows profiles and Steam logons so when we switch around, I'm always having to logon back into my Steam account. So I wrote up a batch file that auto logs me into Steam. Here's the CMD line...
Keystone is a good analogy ... I had never really adjusted FOV before setting up top down view. I noticed that with FOV set at "1", that on top down view, the ball's reflection on table stood way out ... was ugly. Adjusting FOV to "4" tucked that reflection back up under the ball. It also made...
*UPDATE 7/10/15*
I've updated my latest camera pack. I've gone back and adjusted the FOV value from a "1" to around a "4" for the "top down view" on every table which makes huge improvements to ball reflection and overall angle of table objects.
So in this pack you've got:
1) Top down view...
FlippyFloppy ... you have helped me restore my balls to normal!!!
There is the FOV setting in the mod that I really have not toyed with until just now. By adjusting the FOV setting from "1" to a value of "4", it got rid of the horrible reflection on table for my overhead, top down view...
Awesome ... Thanks seattlemark. Im glad you're enjoying them. I really like these 3 views too as they are all very playable and you can switch between them seamlessly without losing site of the ball.
mpad ... try going to your Steam\SteamApps\Common\PinballArcade folder and right-click on PinballArcade11.exe, go to "Properties", then "Compatability" tab and check mark the box "Run this program as Administrator". See if that changes it to launch DX11 ...
Funny you should ask ... I was getting tired of having a "plunger" view as I never use it. So, today I went through and changed all my plunger views to a "top" view which is a top down view. And yes, its all in portrait view. Hers a link to it...
Can't take it with the shadow ball down around the flippers any more. Can we just do away with the shadow\reflection of the ball. I really like the reflection "ON" the balls, but not the reflection "OF" the ball on the table. Driving me crazy. I notice that this effect looks like it only takes...
Your other family members will have to login to Steam under the Steam account that purchased the tables to be able to play it. So if your daughter has her own Windows profile, she would have to logon to her windows profile and then logon to Steam with your Steam logon to be able to play. That is...
