Sounds promising Strikezilla01, I can't wait to see what you guys do with the table.
I wonder if getting any of the actors back for table-specific voice work is a viable option...I mean, someone needs to shout "MULTIBALL!", right? The question is, which Doctor?
I assume "should" means barring some sort of delay (last minute discovered glitch, Nintendo delays it for some reason, etc). As for U.S. only, I assume that only refers to the release date. Meaning they know it's coming out soonish in the U.S., but might take a while elsewhere.
I got my Gold Edition table. Also, FarSight posted this in the comments section:
" Creator FarSight Studios about 1 hour ago
Jeffrey Alan, Wii U should be coming out in the next few weeks, actually. (U.S. only)"
That's pretty cool.
Just going to post this comment from the Doctor Who comments section on Kickstarter:
"Creator FarSight Studios about 1 hour ago
Jeffrey Alan, Wii U should be coming out in the next few weeks, actually. (U.S. only)"
So, enjoy that little reveal.
I'm completely the opposite. I can barely stand phone/tablet gaming, unless it's something well designed for it (playing Myst on the iPad? That can work).
I use a PS4 controller on the PC for that feel that works fairly well (I'd prefer a proper cabinet if possible, but that's just not...
Code? You mean an acronym? FYI, people do use acronyms, especially for groups or for commonly said phrases.
Teasing information aside, I can't wait to get my hands on this table. It looks rather fun.
Glad to help with my first Pinball Arcade Kickstarter. The Doctor Who table seems fun, and I'm looking forward to seeing what Farsight does with their own modern take on it, along with trying out TAF Gold and being prepared for Season Six.
Well, you can always start with the modern Doctor Who...
Well, I was at $60 after the last reveal, and figured I was probably going to stay there...
Moved up to $99. I've wanted TAF Gold for a while now, and getting the Season Six season pass is just amazing. Really hoping this succeeds.
Well, outside of unusual circumstances, a Kickstarter tends to do its best on the first three days and the last three days (give or take a bit of time). Who knows, maybe there are a lot of people waiting to see how their finances are closer to completion (having clicked on the "Remind me"...
Well, I look at it like Jackbot. Reusing a table layout doesn't mean there can't be enough meaningful changes to make a new table warranted. They could make entirely new rule sets for the various Doctors, each distinct from the original 7 in the first table. That alone could change the game...
I'm thinking this could help a lot if the word could be spread better. Need to get the news out further.
I'm certainly excited as a Doctor Who fan.
Maybe between this, that one convention Farsight talked about, and the typical last days boost, it might be enough...but it wouldn't hurt for fans...
I'd like to see Mortal Kombat as a pinball table.
Ed Boon worked on Pinball Tables before MK, so it'd be a nice return to see him work on both as one (totally should throw in a hidden extra where Rudy from Funhouse starts arguing with Scorpion over something).
Well, I don't know how likely another two table pack is, but I'd be down with those tables (though I wonder if they'll save two table packs for EM tables, which we need more of in the future).
