I already bought the season pass, so this doesn't affect me per se, this time round, but potentially it could, if this madness is continued on to season 4. To be honest, I think this is a terrible decision from a sales perspective. You are going to have a bunch of people who will not purchase...
Only if they pull their finger out regarding the licensed tables. Otherwise they are saying "no!" to just about everything else. In fact they are responding in the negative to so many favorite tables, I would argue they are in danger of damaging their potential customer base because of it.
Assuming you are correct that would mean that there would not be enough tables for a 4th season. If there was to be no 4th season there would be no point doing a DX11 update etc etc.
Yet, FS are not showing any indication, at least from recent comments on the recent chat, that the product life...
Dr Who and Judge Dredd would be relatively inexpensive licenses to obtain. In the case of Dr Who there is only one point of contact, the BBC holds the licence, no need to deal with individual actors. For Judge Dredd, because the table is based on the comic and not related to either the Stallone...
Well, that's fair enough, but this was not mentioned as an option in your original post.
See above, this was not the proposal in the orignal post.
Yeah, they also said that Pinball After Dark will be an entirely separate program. So it will not be an add-on/ season pack in the main pinball arcade package. I understood this to be that Pinball After Dark will be a separate purchase. No real details about what tables they are considering, but...
I don't think Stern would want any current production tables in TPA, as there would be concerns that sales of the actual physical table would be affected negatively. They are, after all, marketing these tables to sell to home users (the man cave etc.) as well as the traditional channels.
While I can see that the Sopranos, Family Guy and Playboy could change the rating to *Teen*, I don't see how Xenon is any more problematic than Bride of Pinbot, both feature a mildly sexually suggestive metal female and feature suggestive moaning. Big Bang Bar doesn't seem risque for me at all...
My picks for the last 6:
1) Diner
2) High Speed
3) Robocop [OK, it's licensed, but it can't be that expensive...I don't think I've seen any Robocop licensed product for years and years!]
4) Tommy [of course licensed to The Who, but it would be interesting to know how costly it would be, the...
Yes, I would agree. I bought season 3, but if they put in anything other than recreations of real tables, I will consider myself as having been gypped.
Fair enough,:) we shall see I suppose. As I mentioned I do question whether the ESRB would actually rate pinball tables higher than E10+ (after all, Scared Stiff and T2 have had no apparent impact on the rating). But, as in all things we shall find out by what transpires..perhaps Farsight will...
Without meaning to assume you are being obtuse for the sake of it, let me surmise that your question is genuine and clarify accordingly. I am saying that I do not think there are any tables currently in production or out of it, that would change the ESRB rating of TPA. As such, the idea of...
