    Agree with you on the fast cast, what we had right now is a crap shoot, not a skill shot. as the name suggest a "skill shot" is supposed to be a test of skill. What we have right now kind of defeats the purpose of that kind of shot in pinball.

    I always liked Diner. As an overall experience, I think it is a better table to play than Taxi.

    Fast Cast does not seem to work for me

    Interesting how the same game differs from table to table :-) On the Fish Tales, I used to play you could live catch the ball and then shoot it into the target as an properly aimed shot.

    Hmm, yeah I actually tried this method too, but all that happens is that the ball goes into a regular lock. I'm playing on the PC and it seems like the timer for this shot is off.

    You can nudge forwards just as the ball hits the flipper. This seems to deaden the speed and stop the ball sailing through the outlane. But as per my previous comments, it appears that you cannot catch the ball and fire it in for the Fast Cast. On the real table, this skill shot is not as hard...

    OK makes sense. The fact that the view is obscured by the photon torpedo launchers doesn't help either with the nudges :-)

    I see drain type #1 all the time on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Especially on the right bumper. I've never played the real table though, so I cant comment on how realistic or not this type of drain is in that game.
