Thanks for the info. I'll have to pay close attention next time (a ticket challenge opens up) to see exactly what I'm doing and what exactly is happening. I do remember noting that the tickets were subtracted immediately upon starting the challenge.
BTW, I am on iOS.
I don’t think that bailing the table if you know you won’t complete the challenge works anymore...the arcade tickets are subtracted from your stash immediately upon accepting the challenge.
At least it’s not working for me...
Maybe this was one of the “bug fixes” implemented in the one of the...
This is exactly what I've been doing for the past few months to build up my coin stash (which is now up to 1,534). I did buy coins when they were half off but I think it was likely the 800 coin package so I have actually earned quite a few.
I've been watching ads for the 50 free tickets as...
Pete,
If you turn on airplane mode (or disable Wi-Fi and cellular) and then start the game, you'll be presented with a dialog that will let you actually "Play Offline". You won't be playing at your earned experience level nor have any ability to use any online aspects of the game but you'll at...
Great tip and I just may end up utilizing it. I currently have 1,510 coins saved up...I made a couple of purchases during the Valentine's Day sale where the coins were basically half off; a "case" of 800 and a "pile" of 150. So a total of 950 coins for $11.98. The rest (560 coins) are residual...
I can verify this info. I have all tables fully unlocked and this is what I'm seeing...mostly arcade tickets and coins (coins in place of table parts). You also get periodic flipper and ball skins & trails so be aware of that (I personally find these "enhancements" absolutely useless but that's...
I play on MacOS as well (Zen Pinball 2) and the tables are not offered there. They are on FX3 on my Windows machine under Steam most definitely...although the package was kinda hard to find.
Same here. While some of the stuff is humorous for a bit, much of it is just overdone. I end up playing the Classic version of all of the Zen Tables after the novelty wears off and the effects start to get annoying. I'm grateful that Zen provides the classic version of these tables.
Great release with two of my favorite Popadiuk tables...I spent the $10 to unlock the tables to 2 stars because of this (although it's still a rip-off compared to the other platforms).
Playing on the iOS mobile version so far (Zen Pinball 2 on macOS will be later) and will also chime in that...
I left a bad review as well, giving the app 2 stars. All of the Williams Pinball app tables are awesome and play great so I won't give 1 star for that reason alone. What knocks off 3 stars is this mobile crap that they're pulling.
They may risk not only losing the income from purchasing the table pack(s) but the ad revenue/Zen Coins & Tickets as well. This is pissing me off royally (and I'm sure others are as well) so I'm more than content to just purchase the tables on the Mac (Zen Pinball 2) at $4.99 each. At least I'll...
I thought I read somewhere that the models are being rendered even when you're playing the classic versions of the tables. I see very negligible frame rate differences (especially on iOS), whether or not the extra models animations are being displayed on-screen or not.
I made my purchase of Monster Bash on on Zen Pinball 2 for MacOS ($4.99 for the one table). After the purchase went through, the table still shows as not purchased and wants me to purchase again. Checked my iTunes account and the $4.99 was indeed subtracted from my account but the purchase shows...
I've always assumed that offline play meant just that...you could play offline on your owned tables but high scores & XP were possibly not registered and online aspects of the game were disabled.
I've also never lost the ability to play an "Owned" table in offline mode...my XP is of course...
You can still do offline play if the servers are down (provided you have unlocked the offline play mode).
Just disconnect from Wi-Fi on your device, also disable cellular data for the Williams Pinball app since if Wi-Fi is disabled, it will try to connect via cellular as a second means to...
Zen is aware of the "No confirmation before spending Zen Coins" issue and are apparently working to add a confirmation dialog before actually pulling the Zen Coins from your account. If you had an inadvertent purchase using Zen Coins, I would contact Zen and tell them of your issue. When doing...
