I don't think it would have any negative impact on sales. Quite positive although not much difference.
As mentioned above flipperless games are an important part of pinball history.
Don't forget the goal is to preserve the history of pinball, isn't it?
DX11 would improve the PC version and possibly attract new customers and maybe make pinball newcomers to buy more tables. Hope it will be available soon.

13-ball multiball would probably lag but maybe Baywatch? I remember this table when I was a little or maybe a newer Stern table?

Patience plays a big role. My older brother needed to create a www page to share interests. These days it takes just a tweet. :)
When it comes to pinball it's the same. TPA is still good for new players that just discovered pinball.
