I was hoping that Sony would truly revamp their store when the PS4 went live. Make it easier for publishers to make patches and DLC available quicker than they have with the PS3. I hope this is something that they are going to roll out in the not too distant future.
I guess I just don't understand this idea that I'm an apologist for FarSight. Am I a fan? Yes. But I also know that there are issues with the game. Just because I try to keep most of my critique in the form of constructive feedback doesn't mean I'm not frustrated with how slow updating and...
Actually NOT being their own publisher killed it on the 360. If FarSight had been the publisher then it would not have mattered that Crave went bankrupt.
I agree that my point missed the mark. The point of the whole thread was that FarSight isn't the only publisher having issues with the PlayStation store. FarSight is currently having an issue getting the PS3 mega patch out in Europe and Europe hasn't gotten any DLC for the PS4 version either...
I really can't believe that I'm taking sh+t because someone made a post poking fun at me and I quoted it in my signature. Just reflect on the irony for a moment.
Its not a lack of effort on the part of FarSight that has kept Europe from enjoying the newly improved tables. Several people from FarSight have confirmed that the update was submitted to SCEA and SCEE at the same time. SCEE keeps saying "maybe next week" which is confirmation that they have the...
Perhaps you didn't read my entire post. I also said that I thought it was funny. It makes me chuckle when I read it. I didn't think it would be a big deal to quote a post in my signature. I thought that the only person who could be offended by it would be me and I'm not offended by it. However...
I didn't take it personally or badly. Daniel expressed an honest opinion and I don't expect everyone to agree with or to like me. I also think it's funny.
I think a detailed road map of priorities is unlikely to be shared with us for a number of reasons. First would be that FarSight is small enough to make changes on the fly as the market changes. The more that they share with us the more people that may be disappointed as priorities change...
In another thread I think it was Mike Reitmeyer that said that fixing the audio has been more difficult than they anticipated but that they are working on it and it is a high priority for them. If it wasn't Mike then it was another FS employee.
It is logistical and also monetary. FarSight spends money developing the game for every platform and they need to sell their product in order to pay the people who do the work, plus the overhead, plus the per unit license fees that Williams etc. charge per table sold plus profit for the person...
MLB The Show 14 is releasing today for the PS4. It's published by SCEA. If you pre-ordered the digital version then you were supposed to be able to download it at midnight eastern US time. As of now it is still unavailable to download. "Sony is working on it."
It's not just FarSight that has...
I picked up Cel Damage. Cartoon style drive around and shoot other vehicles with power ups and what not. It was $8.99 for PS4, PS3 and Vita triple cross buy. I'm looking forward to playing this with my daughter when she's home from school in a couple of weeks.
