In Australia most places cost $2 a play for newer tables. Sometimes your lucky and you will get the 3 plays for $2 on older ones. Gets expensive quickly. I think I might start a thread on a pinball tour of Newtown in Sydney where a lot of pubs have pinballs. I think pictures will get a bit...
I loved reading through all this today, at the same time I hated it firstly because in Australia it's hard to get pinballs at any decent sort of price, and secondly I want to do the same thing but just don't have the room.
Keep up the good work.
I think it was just the dialog which said downloading table 1 of 1 which threw me. Cause it took so long I didn't play any other tables. It was only later that I realised that all the tables were available.
It doesn't have any integration with the HOF points like the mobile versions? And...
The sound makes it very hard to play. Tables look good, though it was taking forever to download the tables, and I don't like that you do them individually. I would like an area like the mobile versions that you can download all the tables you haven't got yet (Manage tables), or check for...
Once you have one, you wonder how you lived without it. I love being able to press watch a movie and it turns the TV to the right input, and puts the media centre on. Once it's setup it just gets rid of all those fiddly tasks and clears your coffee table of all those remotes.
I'm fine with that. I would prefer they concentrate on quality rather than quantity. Who knows, they may even have more time to go over old tables and improve those as well. Plus new features for the games overall.
Thats a good point. Brackets probably should have been setup so say 70's-80's tables went up against each other (so we have a winner at that level), with 90's etc tables doing similar. THis way we have what is voted the best table from that era vs the best from other era's in the semi's.
Whirlwind v Twilight Zone - Hate whirlwind so TZ wins by default.
Medieval Madness v Attack From Mars - Who made this match up? THis should have been the final. MM wins as it's a touch better than AFM.
Centaur v Monster Bash - Too easy.
T2 v Theatre of Magic - TOM is such fun!
Medieval Madness v Cirqus Voltaire - Love both, but MM gets way more play time.
Elvira and the Party Monsters v Centaur - I love some old tables, and this is one of them. Plus Elvira is nothing special.
Theatre of Magic v White Water - Just too easy. Love me some magic.
Creature from the...
Yep, it is my most wanted table by far. I have put more money into that table than any other. The guy who rotated the tables at my local pub used to ensure he got it back there every 3-4 mths cause I would hassle the hell out of him to do so. Plus I love tables where it's just my name on the...
I have only had a game crash once so not sure what issues they have with system stability. THough when I got my console, and was applying the new firmware, power was lost to the console, and it wouldn't turn back on. I rang the store and they had no replacement consoles. I left it for 30mins...
I'm happy with that, I would prefer they improved the tables before re-releasing them then have them in their current form. Especially given there isn't a huge userbase yet using the PS4. I think season 1 would suffice for the time being. Maybe when season 2 comes out TPA can be selected as a...
I only pointed the purchasing part out, because having them displayed constantly even after you have bought season 1 and 2 means they are just useless icons. They really should be in a buy tables icon, which then you can drill down further.
Not really sure what the point of when a table was...
