I noticed after I posted this that some of the tables actually do this, but because the tables do not get as dark as Timeshock does most of the effect is lost. This might be something that can't really be done without major lighting changes
So video modes are usually my least favorite part of pinball, they're just bad video games. But I've been playing a lot of Timeshock Ultra and I always love when the video mode starts because it looks so cool when all of the lights in the machine shut off and the table goes completely still...
Haha Good point, updated
I agree that $15 is a more realistic price, and that is about what I would be willing to pay to play these tables on my Xbox or PlayStation. However if they add them to the Arcooda Pinball Arcade I would be willing to pay a big premium to get them
There is still a ton of ground for Pinball Arcade to cover, I personally would like to see them take on modern pinball and move to a 2-4 release per year schedule (at a higher price)
I've said it before but if they can get a Jersey Jack or Spooky Pinball pin into the Pinball Arcade and offer a...
Looks like the price on Pinball Wicked has changed.
Was $17.99 and is now $9.99 with another $9.99 for a supporter DLC, the DLC seems to be a ball pack but mostly a tip to the developers.
This could be a temporary sale but it doesn't look like it
So here's The Getaway running on my cab. I've got some really er, humble, hardware (i3 4640, GTX 670 playfield, GTX 270 backglass and DMD, 8 GB RAM) but it's able to run it smoothly.

I noticed after I uploaded the video that I...
I'm not sure it is different on different machines. I took a look at the photos Silverballs posted and they look just like they do on my cab. I'm thinking different users are more sensitive to the shape of the ball. I look at the picture Silverballs posted and my brain goes "round enough" I have...
I'm interested to see how well optimized Pinball Arcade (and Timeshock if they let you try it) are. They should be pretty much perfect versions
Also push the machine around a little bit and see how it responds. I've tried analog nudge on my cabinet and never ended up being happy with it so now...
I wonder if VP Cabs is paying attention to Arcooda and their pricing.
I have a VP Cabs Mini* (3/4 scale cab with i3 4640, gtx 670, 4 gb RAM) I got a very big discount on it at a pinball show when VP Cabs was just starting out, but the list price for the Mini was the same as Arcooda standard...
Come to think of it, I've been doing alt-enter to full screen after killing Steam. So I haven't tried alt-tab. I'll give it a shot next time I get to the cab
I doubt it, I imagine Elk Grove, Illinois is just set up really well to receive and distribute pinball machines. but having said that I would pay a lot of money for modern tables with Arcooda cabinet support. Batman '66 would be worth $50+ to me.
I have to imagine that the Arcooda cabinet specific versions of the Pinball Arcade and Timeshock packages don't have many of these glitches.
I feel like most of these glitches are caused by the software running on a huge variety of different machines. Farsight spent 20+ months designing this...
Its pretty unusual for digital software purchases to offer refunds. Outside of Steam (which gives only a 2 hour window for returns) its pretty much unheard of. Calling them shady for not offering a refund in a situation where almost no retailer ever would is a pretty big stretch.
I guess the ultimate version of virtual pinball would be to use the Arcooda as a controller and output the visuals to VR. With the PC specs of the Arcooda cabinet I'm pretty sure it could be done.
I'd probably just buy the Kinect and do the head tracking though and not wear the funny headset
The way they've priced everything else it would be weird if it wasn't a reasonable shipping cost.
Do we know much about Timeshock Arcade edition? The Pro Pinball guys have been radio silent for a long time now, is this something they finished a long time ago or have they been actively working...
