I love Doctor Who, just not the new ones so much. I grew up in the 80's with mostly Tom Baker & John Pertwee reruns, and I got the impression they were genuinely eccentric/cranky guys, but in the new episodes the Doctor's seem to be trying too hard to be a bit weird and failing (in my opinion)...
I just downloaded the Plants Vs Zombies table for Zen. I know this is a TPA thread but now everytime I score a combo on ANY pinball game or machine I hear a sweet sounding gardener chick saying "c, c, c, combo!" in my brain. Its downright infectious! :D
I quite like the table, it's a toughie, but that music!!! It has that old-school Zen generic monotony. The later releases don't seem to suffer so bad with the crappy music.
I think the outlanes should resemble the real machine as much as possible, if the real table is a drain monster then the TPA version should be a drain monster too.
I love pinball, so when I want a "real" experience I play TPA, and when I want to chill I play Zen.
It's Farsight's fault I played...
With multiball cam off and locked cam on the camera still zooms in on the TZ & STTNG skillshot area & the mixmaster on Dr. Dude.
With these settings the camera should never move.

I understand your where you are coming from, and as an IOS user I find the table packs VERY reasonably priced, so I will keep buying them. (Cheaper than a pint for two tables is a bargain). I find myself playing Zen more now which is something I never saw happening as I am a sucker for the REAL...
It seems to happen most when the ball is going really fast and you start flapping the flippers in desperation. It reminds me of CV when the ball is going too fast and flies through the table.
Ball control seems ok as long as it's moving slowly.
When using my iPhone or iPad if I have to start another application and send TPA into the multitasking bar or hit the sleep button to serve a customer, 80% of the time when I return to TPA it will crash.
I dread a customer coming to the bar on a quiet night, a pint of lager can cost me a whole...
I admit I have no footage or any evidence of this but I just played a few games on TZ & STTNG, and when the ball was heading down the centre on both games I flailed at the flippers, the ball was caught for a split-second before draining down the middle. Has anyone notice this kind of behaviour...
Thanks for the answer Mike, I know it's hardly a pressing issue, but interesting non the less. I have to say I was kind of daydreaming when I decided to post this thread, I was thinking of the Father Ted episode which showed how the vatican chose which holy relics to upgrade ("yeah that will do...
